Just a little off subject, but why is their a big USA vs Mexico soccer game being played on the same field that will field our first preseason game tomorrow night? I understand that the pitch that the soccer players play on isn't the same turf that the Eagle play on but having all that traffic on the field the night before the game doesn't seem very smart, especially when a few years back the Ravens/Eagles preseason game needed to be cancelled due to bad field conditions. Maybe I'm just being anal about it but it doesn't make much sense to me.

I think it could uglier in game threads this year than in past years if this team stumbles. The way the offseason went down has people ready to burn the Ravens FO. Lots of 'I told you so' posts I expect.

Should be interesting. I wonder how long the starters will be out there for the Eagles. I have to think and I have said this before, with the Eagles offensive line our defense could take Vick out for the season tomorrow.

Yeah, the crazies are going to be out full force tonight if we lose the firsts against firsts battle, even though Harbaugh has said a few series, while Reid has said first quarter. Anxious to see how that plays out!

Just remember, it's not the outcome that matters -- though, I hate the Eagles since I live in Eagles country, so I'd really like to see a Ravens blowout victory for personal reasons.

Rather, it's the individual play of the backups that matter. These four games are an audition for some fresh faces to make the squad and show the coaches that they belong in the starting lineup if some starters underperform or go down with injuries.
