Ray's Last Run?

Don't retire until Hines retires! You can't let him actually play a game without you lining up on the other side... that's what he wants! :141847_thud:

Man, if we do win it all, it would kinda suck afterwards. Ray and Reed retiring the same offseason? That just sounds terrible man. It's like a storybook ending, with a not so happy ever after.

For purely selfish reasons I hope he doesn't retire this season. I'll never forgive myself if I never got to see Ray and Ed play in person before they retired. I've already started saving for next season thinking that would be his and possibly Ed's last season!

He is the LandShark Ray Lewis his Legacy will Go on forever...No player has done what he has play effectively every year, we will win this Super Bowl! and he will retire a much deserved two time champ, He is the perfect example of a Legendary Defensive player who needs no Dirty tricks,or cheat like their long time rivals, he was born a Raven and will Die a Raven:career wise of course! He knows we got it this year flacco now has the xp to do it and we got an awesome blocker in Leach for Rice We got this Ravens!Raven fans! this is our year! :D

Maybe, but maybe not. Playing at the level that he is, and will be probably all the way til his retirement, I think that he's going to miss football too much. That's all the man has ever known. However, if he gets his ring, it might alter his perspective a bit.

I Hope Ray stay's as long as he's healty and able to play ball he's a key player and a great leader for us... and i agree with Ray we should go all the way this yr.. last yr we could have.. baltimore's got a awsome team, and without Ray there it wouldn't be the same so a a huge raven's fan i hope we go to the superbowl and ray stay's till the end... but all you guy's make great point's...

When I heard what Ray said my first reaction was a sick feeling in my stomach. I know the day will come when Ray will hang 'em up, and if winning the Super Bowl brings that day, well, the man earned it! The best linebacker to ever put on any uniform deserves to go out on top. If we don't, I still think he'll go one more year but he's not the type of man that just hangs on for that moment. He's too smart, to much of a real pro, and really he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody, he already has! I think I speak for all Raven fans in saying we love you Ray,come whatever!! :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:

last season i got to watch Ray play LIVE for the first time at M&T Bank Stadium. i planned on being there for the season opener against the Steelers (section 127) but, my business is taking me out of town on that day. :34853_brickwall: :34853_brickwall:

however, i will be there on week 4 when the Jets come to town to watch my boy Ray-Ray do his thing! i may come back in week 8 to see Todd Heap's return with the Cardinals.
