6) Falcons
7) Jets
8) Colts
9) Ravens

12) Buccaneers
13) Bears
14) Chiefs
15) Rams
16) Cowboys
17) Texans
18) Lions
19) Seahawks
20) Titans

25) Vikings
26) 49ers

Personally, besides the Seahawks being to high and us being a couple spots below where we should be, (I'd put us at 4-6 ish) this isnt a bad list. That said, preseason rankings dont mean much.

I couldn't care less about these stupid rankings, especially before the first preseason game has been played.

How did the Jets and Colts move up a spot from last year when the Jets WR corps got worse compared to last season and Peyton Manning is dealing with an injury issue? Odd...

The Ravens I'm fine with because when you see them cut Derrick Mason and Todd Heap and replace them with unproven rookies and young guys on the offense you're bound to expect a drop.

Sure everyone's going to come in and say "these rankings mean diddly squat....." While that's true, they're still fun to take a look at. This one seems to be pretty good (on paper of course).

These rankings are terrible. Bengals, Bills, Panthers....them and the Broncos were the four worst teams in football last year. Now three of them will be at the very bottom again? Not gonna happen.

The Eagles still lack an O line and LBs. But I guess big FA moves=championship.... Not necessarily dissing the Eagles, but this has "hop on the bandwagon" written all over it.

Once again, they have the same teams in the same general areas as what happened last year. LAST year. I guarantee this list will be very inaccurate when it's all said and done at the end of the season.

Surprised the Cowboys are higher. Every year it seems like they are the team to beat by the analist at least until they loose a couple games then you see the power ranking drop week after week. It is odd to see the Jets & Colts so high but as mentioned earlier... these rankings mean nothing

Yeah I don't see a problem. They're pretty solid rankings in my opinion at the top.

Injuries will happen and we will see how teams play together. Buying players in free agency doesn't work often so for the teams that made big transactions like the Eagles, we will see how that team plays together. Ravens will be consistently at the top like they always are.

And I quote from week 5:

"QB Joe Flacco came of age in beating Pittsburgh. (Walker)"

So why is it that in the time since most peoples opinions of him have worsened?

The Polamalu play, costing us the Division... and the Divisional Playoff game. Both losses to Big Ben.

We always seem to be the most consistent team though.

Fair point but I don't put all the blame for that on Flacco. The Polamalu play, definitely, but too much blame is put on Joe for our shortcomings against the Steelers IMO.

Why not? I think Cincy will be the worst team in football this year, and BUF and CAR did very little to improve this offseason.

But people say that every year. People said the Bucs, Rams and Lions would once again be at the bottom in 10 and look what happened. BUF may very well end up in third in the AFC East ahead of the Dolphins. Not booking it, but it wouldn't surprise me. CAR is the worst in the NFC South, but aside from the injury bug, I haven't seen anything that will keep them from improving. I don't think they're going to pull a Bucs because Newton is not Freeman, but they have many winnable games on their schedule. They resigned a lot of their own (DeAngelo, Johnson, kept Smith), and I expect them to come together a little bit and win some more games.

Exactly. Is ESPN serious with this crap?

Have I ever mentioned how much I despise the media?

*facepalm*
