I for one think this is absurd. It's not like we had that many different plays to begin with and now he is trimming it down even more. I have a feeling our offense is going to be reminiscent of 2010's offense, unfortunately.

ever heard of.... "Less is more?"

we shouldn't try to be the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the size of or the amount of plays that are in the playbook and become the master-of-none!

and...with rookies possibly stepping up in various positions...i think that this is a wise decision on Cam's part.

Even the Patriots coach said they were trimming their own playbook. Dont think too much into these things

Something tells me the comeback route to Mason is still in there...

There's nothing wrong with comebacks and curls. They work much better when a WR with legitimate speed can catch the ball, and have enough separation to make a move after the catch.

On another note, True, that was the post of the year.

I agree 100% Those comebacks and curls are great when you need to pick up a crucial 1st down. I like Q's ability to get YAC after a comeback / curl route so hopefully he takes up Mason's previous role as Flacco's go to guy on 3rd downs. However, Boldin has the stronger frame to break away from the CB and get those extra tough yards.

And thanks.

I don't like a lot of Raven's plays. They are good at "spinning the wheels" and looking busy while not really being on attack. In fact, I hate watching as lot of Ravens offense because they always look like they are playing panicked and frantic. I call it the "Chinese Fire Drill" offense.

That "trimmed" down playbooks is still probably 300 pgs +

And if I start to see Boldin running 100 9 routes every game, then I reserve the right to start the "fire Cam Cameron" thread again
