Preseason Game 1 On Directv

Just to let everyone know, there is a possible chance to get the game on Television on directv Thursday night.

If you tune into Channel 642 which is CSN for DC, there is a "To Be Announced" time stamp from 7:30pm which is game time, through 2 hours. This could be our game, but no description is available.

skin dont play t'ill friday, so who else would they be broacasting Thursday night?

I just had to check channel 642 to verify it with my own eyes. And your right. There is a slot saved. Exciting.

I assumed it was going to be on tv automatically. But after last year, that's not a safe bet.

Looks like everybody in the D.C. Market will be getting pre-season game 1 on CSN. Too verify you can go to [url="http://www.comcastsportsnet.com/pages/main"]CSN[/url], input your zip and provider to check.

For sure. All of MD gets it. Looks like it will be on CSN for all of Maryland.

It'll be interesting when the Ravens and Redskins play at the same time come game 2. Both teams play Friday Aug 19. At least the next week we play the Redskins.

Yeah, im sure I will get it , BUT, you wil be very surprised how many times they will black out the games here, for like preseason on directv.... they do it all the time even tho I live in MD.

I use a HD Atenna to get regular season from WBOC, crystal clear amazing 1080p

CSN would be considered a local channel. Unsure if you have Baltimore locals where you are at.

I use to do that, I am only 30 minutes from Baltimore and I used to be forced to use bunny ears. But it drove me crazy, I'd be on the roof trying to get reception.

I caved in and signed up for the crack (Sunday Ticket).

I bought my hd atenna on ebay, mounted on top the house, and it has a remote control that rotates the atenna on top the house, pretty cool. The HD on that honestly looks better then directv channels.

even if I bought NFLST, the Ravens games are black out in my area still, because were too close to Baltimore or something, my father bought it 3 seasons ago and then as soon as the game started, it said it wasnt available in our area. we raged then got a refund

Wow so Verizon Fios doesn't even have the game listed... MASN has the dumb orioles game on, ESPN has Chargers/Seahawks and CBS has regular TV shows on.

Fios TV Guide doesn't even have game listed.

Its being covered on Comcast sports net. Do you have CSN? I would expect so if you have MASN.

Update:

It's interesting to note that now the "Ravens vs Eagles" game is showing up on ABC on my Directv. Channel 7 in HD. And like I said earlier, Comcast sportsnet said they'd be showing it. But it stills says to be announced in the guide. I think it'll be blacked on on CSN and shown on ABC for people in the DC market.
