Who's Your Daddy?

44 posts in this topic

As Ravens fans, we always gripe about how we always seem to lose when we play Indy (2-6 all time in regular season) and the Pats (0-6 all time in regular season).

But to lighten things up, lets look at the guys that WE own (our win - loss record in the regular season):

1. Cleveland (17 - 7)
2. Houston (4-0)
3. Oakland (5-1)
4. Saints (4-1)
5. Cowboys (3-0)

and saving the best for last ....

6. New York Ravens (6-1)

Yeah Cincis a threat with Andy Dalton and Cedric Benson leading that offense. seriously? mike zimmer coaches a mean D but Andy Dalton wont be beating Baltimore anytime soon.

Flacco is 7-0 against the AFC West, after beating the Chiefs in the playoffs last season. But he's only played the Chargers once.

I said if he pans out. Look at the offensive weapons over there with AJ Green, Jordan Shipley, and Greshman. Jerome Simpson also turned it on when given a chance too. They have potential to be a great young offense in a few years.

The Bengals defense still worries me a little though.

Yeah I feel ya. Losing their best player (Joseph) is going to do wonders for that D. wait what??

Andy dalton is going to pan into much. He might become a middle tier guy but he's never going to be on flaccos level and flacco is still improving

Yeah, but they still have Leon Hall on the other side. Now, they can afford to double team the WR opposite Hall.

That said, I don't expect Dalton to do crap against us, at least not right away.

im saying you have to support a rook with a good running game and D. the D is their but Ced Bensons over 30 and they dont have much behind them. and there O line isnt dominating enough to win games pounding the ball. ecspecially when we have Mt.Cody and Ngata on d line with Ray lewis and everybody else. Cinci cant even get there only decent QB to play for them. seriously the guys making over 10m a year and he wont play for the team. somethings wrong.

If the Bengals were smart, they'd start Gradkowski for a year, especially against the rest of the division. His leadership demeanor would work better against us and the Steelers. Perhaps that would interfere with Dalton's development with the young receivers, but perhaps it would help it in the future. In other words, bring on Dalton!!!.....Despite losing Joseph, however, I would think Zimmer still has the right scheme in place to have success against our offense, UNLESS of course our young guns make it more explosive and give him something he won't expect.

The only 2 teams that have owned us have future hall of fame quarterbacks so we are not doing too badly.... With an improved secondary we may be able to bridge the gap.

We did beat the Pats in the playoffs though a year ago so thats what really matters..... One of my most favorite games in recent memory.... RAY RICE!

Nah, I think he had team 6 right! And yes, we all know who has been beating us when it counts, but this isn't one of those threads. Its to put a smile on some faces. Those that are about to jump at every tiny move/non-move the Ravens are making or not making.

i fixed team 6 because they are no longer Ravens players just like the Ravens team are no longer the Cleveland Browns.

i understand Fly's thread. but, if we are feeling good about owning the Browns then we are in serious trouble! :229031_rofl:

13-2 combined record against the Saints, Jets and Cowboys. We whoop them worse than we whoop the Browns, relax!

I come in here, have a great laugh (credit@flynismo) and just like that POW here we are talking about how scared we are of cinci defense. Good grief ppl lighten up around here. This could be the Browns website...I'm sure they are far more excited than we are and they have nothing to look forward to.
