Well, it's not like he's been an absolute superstar. It looks like he's gotten slower, and he hasn't been killin it out there.

i consider boldin a star,he's a great reciver,but anyhow i bumped him to 94

Boldin for damn sure isnt a 94. Maybe 5 years ago.

Yeah. He clearly isn't the guy he was in Arizona.

He is an 87 on mine, and like The Raven said, its not like he's been an absolute superstar. Maybe he was with Kurt Warner, but he hasn't been with flacco, but don't get me wrong, flacco is no kurt warner. Our offense is a bit different than most, we may have the talent but their numbers do not show compared to other teams, thats just the ravens system. I personally do not consider flacco elite, and i don't know if he will ever be elite, but in my opinion he is better than matt ryan (just because matt ryan is afraid to throw deep). Some could call me a flacco hater, maybe thats true, but i don't really like our passing game. We had the best "talent" receiver core last year and we really couldn't do anything with them (well 3 of them were possession receivers, and one was a vertical threat, while tj was also an endzone threat) but we were still not able to do anything because of cam camerons/flaccos play calling.

If you look at our games: VS pit Flacco played well, but then again look at their pass D, its really bad
Vs Ten... flacco played poor, look at their pass d, very strong
Vs stl... flacco played amazing... but they have one of the worst pass D's
Vs Jets.... flacco was garbage... they have the best pass d.

people say flacco is on and off, i don't know if its on and off. I think its just hes good vs bad teams and sucks vs good teams, is that his or cam camerons fault, who knows, but i can tell you i am not a fan of cam cameron.

So basically what im saying is that boldins rating is fine on madden if he is a raven, but if he was still in AZ and kurt warner was still around i can guarantee boldin would be in the 90's.
I think Boldin is rated fairly in madden at 87. He has a few drops but he is still a very dependable receiver. He is just not as good as he was when he was in Arizona.

I also think Ed Reed should be a 99 in madden. Especially since Polamalu is a 99 and he is overrated.

I just think flacco is a little inconsistent so far this season but what quarterback wouldn't with the only receiver and running back from last year being boldin and running back ray rice. He also had basically 3 top ten passing defenses besides titans. I don't want this turned into flacco debate but i think people are to critical on him.

Steelers currently have the #1 passing defense(174 yds/g)
Titans #11 passing defense(221 yds/g)
Rams #13 passing defense(even after flaccos career high of 389 yards)(without ravens game they would have #1 passing defense 169-170.0 yds/g)
Jets #5 passing defense(203 yds/g)

No he's really not, but I also dont think things are easy on him. He played against seriously soft defenses for a long time in the NFC West, had a HOF QB in Warner, and had a premier vertical/complete WR opposite him in Fitzgerald. I dont think he's gotten worse since he's been here, just the defenses we play are clearly better and Flacco is clearly no Kurt Warner.

Okay correction:

Boldin was a 95 when he had Warner and Fitzgerald.

His production since he's been here doesn't earn him a 94. It's arguable that he's getting respected more by name than anything nowadays.

No offense, but have you seen the teams the steelers had to play since we beat them? Hell today they even play the jaguars. Sure the steelers had the texans and the titans, but remember the titans didn't have kenny britt vs them. In my opinion Kenny Britt is the second or third best receiver in the league. Calvin Andre and Him.
Ravens and Texans beat the steelers, both of us had a dominant running and passing game against them. They have a fairly easy schedule. If you look at the steelers schedule right now. They only have two more potential losses and that's against us and the patriots.
Then again, we also have a fairly easy schedule down the road. We have 3 more potential losses. Chargers, Steelers, and Colts (if peyton manning returns, because we always lose to the damn colts when we are the better team, damn it should have been us that year in the superbowl not them!)... I guess we can also count houston as a potential loss, but them not having andre johnson and mario williams helps us out a bunch, gives flacco more time and gives our defense a better shot.

if you download the update half way through a seson, or in your 2nd year, for franchise mode, do you lose free agent signings or if you released someone in the cut days, for example c brown, would he be back on your roster then? or can you not actually update your franchise roster? would you have to restart the franchise?

the actual franchise roster does not update from roster updates. It only updates through your gameplay. Lets say flacco is an 88 and you get 500 yds a game with him and no pics he moves up to a 95, thats how franchise updates.

yea so to actually get the roster updates you would have to start the franchise again with the latest roster, thats what i thought, was just checking. i broke the sack record for suggs (28) and in my 2nd yea he went down to 92.. he also lead the team in tackles and TFL, i cant get my head around the drop but aw welll lol

*!!*!*!*!*!* Pernell Mcphee should be a 70!
1. Cundiff finally got some recgonition and pulled the ravens to have more 90 rated players than any other team.
2. Idk why gurode and mckinnie went down, they didnt play that bad.
3. Finally Cody got bumped up.
4. I hope they boosted ray rices speed
5. Ngata finally moves up, yet he really should be a 99 lol

Bryant McKinnie OL BAL Decrease, from 86 to 84OVR Andre Gurode OL BAL Decrease, from 88 to 86OVR Pernell McPhee DL BAL Increase, from 65 to 67OVR Terrence Cody SL BAL Increase, from 71 to 74OVR Billy Cundiff K BAL Increase, from 88 to 90OVR Matt Birk OL BAL Increase, from 91 to 92OVR Ray Rice HB BAL Increase, from 93 to 94OVR Haloti Ngata DL BAL Increase, from 97 to 98OVR

Hey man, my ps3 got the ylod yesterday. Check their potentials, I say Mcphee should get bumped up to an A, 2 sacks,1 ff, 1 fr for a 5th rounder this early in the season is impressive. I noticed that after the last update they moved Torrey from a B to and A which is pretty awesome. Maybe Cody to an A as well. He's no joke

The ratings are still skewed.....Torrey should be faster and Rice should be faster. I'm flabbergasted at some of the ratings lol.
Ya whenever I do a franchise I always change ratings to more realistic ones. They should be able to make realistic ratings, its not that hard.

It happens every year since Madden has instituted updates. Ray Lewis starts mid to low 90's and then works his way back up to the high 90's only to be decreased to the low 90's for the next game.

Hey, you can do whatever you want with your team. I'm just sharing my opinion when I say I hate the roster you have put together.

EDIT: Madden really has Gaither as a RT? He has been a LT throughout his career... lol
