But no seriously, Rivers is 29,Brees 32, Brady is 33. They have alot of life left. Even if they were gone guys like Matt Ryan, Sam Bradford , Matt Stafford (considering he stays healthy), Josh Freeman have done just as good if not better than Flacco in the same amount of time or less. Losing Mase AND Heap doesn't help his stats im betting. He's an average QB at best but im hoping to see change with youth at our core..
Really? Those guys have done more than Flacco? Are you talking about in college? If so, then yes...otherwise the above statement is laughable!

How is Flacco lower than Romo for 2010. Romo missed like 10 games and Joe had 3600 yards and his ints are consistently dropping year to year. They should factor playoff wins in there somewhere. Cause Romo has 1 and Matt Ryan has 0. Flacco has 4 if im correct.
Come on now, you know they cant do that, That would make Matt Ryan look bad. They are trying to make him look good.

I don't get it with Matt Ryan and why he is considered so good, to me he is average at best, It shows when he plays good teams. Look at the Falcons schedule the last few seasons and the Teams they play. The QB rating system is a joke. The only thing that should be changed with the old system is the Interceptions that were the Receivers fault, like tipped passes etc.

LOL dont get upset guys, i know you all love Flacco but damn. There's a difference between a QB who makes plays and plays that make the QB. Ray Rice almost single handed MADE Joe "im kind of a big deal" Flacco.

Rice may be one of the most dynamic players in the league but that's a ridiculous statement.

And Marvin Harrison made Peyton Manning, and Jerry Rice made Joe Montana, and...

Forget it, this is just silly

While you are entitled to your opinion, Ray Rice didn't make Flacco, Flacco did. I don't know what you are basing this on because the QBR ratings don't have throwing to a favorite target as a metric if I am not mistaken...

Rice made Flacco?

Damn straight,in this case the players made the QB. Mason and Rice pulled Flacco out of the hole. If it weren't for Rice and Mason he'd still be down there. Before Clayton got hurt Bradford showed everyone why Baltimore drafted him, Flacco didnt... Just sayin

Well, with one of the worst WR corps in the NFL at the time, how can you say his WRs made him. Moss and Welker were one of the best duos ever, and they definitely didnt make Brady. Same with harrison and Wayne.

Damn wrong. Dependable targets like Mase and Rice have obviously helped Joe, but as last year showed, he's made strides as a passer.

Your third sentence is a joke. Where would he still be? Still the player he was in '08? You know that, how?

Clayton was the only decent WR Bradford was throwing to last season. I remember him racking up 10+ targets in all but one of the games he appeared in. Going against some really porous defenses, he was bound to make plays. He made plays here at times too. But injuries and not being the primary target hurt him as well.

In 2008 Flacco did in his rookie year what Steve McNair did at the twilight in his career. WITHOUT Ray Rice. What are you talking about?

Bmore...

i absolutely love the fact that you are sticking to "your" opinions and views about Flacco in here bruh! cause some cats have a hard time with people speaking against him and his game. however, i think that you may want to rethink this one. :sinking:

Mason, Rice and Heap all helped Joe in his development. and rightfully so! however, Flacco (although his game play was horrible at times imo as well) is improving, he had a good season and has gained playoff experience.

this should be his breakout year!

What kind of cool aid is being served in Hawaii? Come on man, this is getting ridiculous. If you believe Flacco is an average QB that is fine, but Rice making Flacco not only is offensive to Flacco but to his parents who actually made Flacco!;)

We faced Greenbay during the season... He had a good game.... We faced the ravens (who was the top team in the AFC at the time) ... He had a good game against them... He also had a good game against the saints (early in the season) ... The Bengals.. The team you guys say Joe struggle against them... Matt Ryan shred them.

This is not a Ryan vs Flacco thing... I'm just saying... Dont say the guy doesnt play good against good teams... He played good against you guys... You guys have a good team.

I get if you dont like the system or feel like Flacco dont get his due respect (i dont feel the guy gets his due respect and im a falcons fan) ... I really do get that... But dont act like Ryan is not good or hasn't produced against good teams) ... Forget the Roddy Push off play... If we loss against you guys... He still had a great game.

If you want to see why they like the guy... look at his 2010 stats vs blitzes and pressure... look at his 3rd down and 4th down completion % ...

Ive debate a couple of guys on here who isnt fans of the QBR... I totally get why they dont like it by the pure facts they threw at me... But come on.. Average at best ? The guy is not elite as of now but he is very good.

I think some of these experts should find better things to do with there time, like get a hobby. How do you measure heart? Do wins or loses mean anything? If a team is behind the QB has to throw more, where as a team holding a lead should be trying to run some clock. IMO,there is just plain getting to be too many stats and too many other aspects of the offensive performance of the team as whole being overlooked. This surely doesn't take into account the quality of the receiving core a QB has and we all know that! Games are not played on paper, and like the movie title, "On any given Sunday."
