Looks like the injury bug has made its mark.

Panthers sixth-round OG Zack Williams tore his ACL in practice this week.
He'll be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. A two-year starter at Washington State, Williams has experience at both guard and center. He was a candidate for the practice squad before suffering the injury.

Panthers NT Ron Edwards is likely to miss the 2011 season after tearing his triceps in training camp.
It's a big blow to the Panthers. Edwards, signed to a three-year, $8.25 million contract last week, was supposed to add girth and run-stopping ability to a soft Carolina interior line. The Panthers will likely pursue an alternative, but the free agent market has been stripped thin. If they stay in-house, third-round rookie Sione Fua is the next best nose tackle option.

I wonder how the Panthers are running their camp because they are losing some valuable players especially Ron Edwards who suppose to be their starting DT.

Torn ACL for rookie Mikel Leshoure, RB Lions. Season over before it started. Now they are looking thin at RB, might need to bring back K Smith.

They'll definitely need RB depth with Jahvid Best not being the most durable player.
