Are The Bengals Selfdestructing, Will M. Lewis Get The Axe?

"We just suck on offense right now. That's terrible. We can't move the ball. We can't get a first down. We can't run. We can't throw. The defense played great, and we just didn't play good on offense, bottom line."

HAHA, so true.

Marv has to go, they need to get the locker room under control though, its ridiculous

Marvin probably has to go, but not because of the locker room. He has to go because we are not producing and he is not doing what he did when he first got here.

As for self-destructing, the Bengals are constantly self-destructing because Mike Brown is a destructive force that happens to be running a team, and isn't good at it. As long as Mike Brown is at the helm, we will never be consistently successful.

We don't need to get rid of anybody other than John Thornton because he is absolute garbage.

i applaud you guys for still being here
i knew a squeeler fan and we barely spoke for the next 3 months after 2006[/quote]
Well I guess he was taking football a little to personal. You have to check yourself when you get caught up in it to the point you stop speaking to someone it is just a game. After Monday he might not ever speak to you!LMAO!

"hell Ray Lewis of all people had to talk him into coming back to the team"

Really? Didn't know that... but umm, Cam Cam is pushing for a big tall physical receiver. The way things are going in Cinci watch Chad end up here, especially if Ray Lewis gives him a little talk and if our team keeps racking up those W's.

I wouldn't mind having Chad on our team, despite his antics. Just having him would add another weapon to our offense, but before the Bengals would EVER trade him to a division rival they would have to take multiple draft picks, if not players too, and I just see the asking price too high for Chad Whateverhisname.

lmfao...we dont ever speak anymore
see what happened was i claimed the ravens would beat pittsburgh twice and win the division that year and he treated me like an idiot, which at the time most would have done
he kept saying that theyve never beaten pittsburgh(what the heck?,they beat them every year)..he was diluted
after both games...we spoke less...and MUCH less about football
lmfao...i wish i couldve enjoyed it more but i was afraid it would destroy him...that happening after this girl he liked stopped going w/him

Lewis didn't specifically talk him into coming back, he just helped him to analyze the situation he was putting himself in better. It was after taking Lewis' advice that he ended up becoming happy again, but it wasn't that Lewis said flat out you need to come back.

I love Chad, Chad is easily a top 5 WR when he is on his game, but physical he is not. He can take shots, he runs next to perfect routes, he has wonderful hands, and he is fast as hell, but he is not a WR that is going to bump and push and hit the opposing CB. He is going to get around him anyway possible.

I think Marvin will get the Ax or be on a very very short leash. There need to be changes there. I think it's funny how people say look what he did with Ravens D why can't he have the same success with his current team. Too many people forget coordinators don't scout and draft the players. Maybe that is why we had high expectations for Billick because of what he did with the Vikings. Bengals just need lots of help and structure.

I want Marvin out, now. I want him gone, and I want our OC gone, ASAP. They are both garbage, but Marvin is actually decent at talent evaluations, IMO.

That said, none of it will matter until we lose Mike Brown.

He was a good DC for you guys, but Marvin has let the Bengals get out of his control. They need a change ...., and Oakland needs Marvin.

The Bengals have been self-destructing for the last couple seasons. Too much drama in that place with Chad talking, and T.J. not showing up to training camp. I thought Keith Rivers was a steal for the Bengals in that draft. I do believe he leads the team in tackles. Big impact for a rookie linebacker. Tvares Gooden is better though.

So very true...

Not unlike Oakland's situation.
