Now that Malcolm Floyd has resigned witht San Diego and Derrick Mason has yet to make his decision; who would you like the Ravens to go after as 2nd receiving option opposite Anquan Boldin?

Which is why the Jets cut him to sign Mason, and STILL might get rejected hahaha! I hope we get him, but I hope even more that the Jets don't, so I can laugh about them being burned again.

What about a guy like Lee Evans from the Bills. His #'s have been poor the past couple of years due to just brutal QB's but I watch a lot of Bills games and he is quite good at beating defenders and creating seperation on deep balls, it's just a matter of the QB hitting him when he's wide open for the TD which they haven't been able to do much of.

Steve Smith is more than likely going back to NY, would cost too much money anyway.
TO is coming off knee surgery and, even though he can probably still produce, is a team cancer.
Mark Clayton (if i read correctly) still needs a month to heal. And hes Mark Clayton.
Randy Moss is retired.
Jerricho Cotchery, no thanks. poor man's Mason. and i mean like, hobo poor.
Derrick Mason would probably be the only receiver I would want (back) here. But i would only want him as a #3.

I wouldn't mind having D. Mase back just hope he doesn't go to the Jets.
[/quote]
Ya I agree. I would like him to come back, but I wouldn't be upset if he went to the Titans. I will be if he goes to the Jets though :gaah:

Ma$e will be back, no worries. and I love it!

I agree. He liked his time here, and we loved having him. If he wants to win a ring he knows this is his best bet. The only reason I could see him signing elsewhere is because he is a little mad that we went out and pursued Floyd ahead of him.

I can't see us going after either of the Steve Smiths who would be my top choices, but their teams aren't gonna deal them at Raven prices. I think Mason will come back which I'm not really happy about. But just for the hell of it let's play GM..

Other than Mason we could look at a guy like Kenny Britt on the Titans. He isn't on great terms with the team and he may be expendable to them at this point. he's missed 7 days of camp with a "hamstring injury" but you get the feeling he doesn't wanna be there. The Titans would probably want a 5th round pick and a player, but Ozzie could maybe work them down to a 6th round pick and a player. Still he would bring a presence very similar to Floyd. The biggest problem would be restructuring his contract, but at just 22 he's shown flashes of his big play ability and could become a part of the ravens future. At 6'3 215 he would bring well needed size, combine that with great hands and leaping ability and you have a potential stud.

Realistic Trade: James Hardy + 5th round pick or Prescott Burrgess + 6th Round Pick

There's no way the Titans give up a WR with Britt's talent for that.
