Well the new RHCP album is another classic. Love it. Good stuff.

Notice how it's hardly being marketed due to the extremely crappy era of pop music we are in.

I'd like to call myself a big RCHP fan, but I'm just hearing this album for the first time.

One thing that everyone was wondering about the Peppers without John Frusciante was how they would replace his sensational background vocalism. Josh Klinghoffer did a hell of a job here.

Dude I completely agree. This album is seriously one of their best IMO. RHCP kill it every album.

Let's hope RHCP has more left after this. They've been around quite a while.

For some reason I feel like this is there last album. A lot of sentimental pieces on this album. Brendan's Death Song comes to mind. The song is beautiful. No other way to describe it. Good sendoff song to their friend who died of a stroke.

Pink floyd?? Why?? Clapton has great guitar work but his voice leaves some to be desired.

Personal opinion maybe....

Bon Jovi is not??? Thats crazy!! Jon Bon Jovi has a very distinctive voice, and Ritchie Sambora is one of the best guitarists. Pink Floyd is just a jumble of random and poor quality instruments and vocals. Like Jimi Hendrix

lol. wow. To each their own I suppose. I'll take music that makes me think big over music that makes my hair big.

Yeah, we will agree to disagree. Just because they had big hair doesnt mean their music was thoughtless or useless. Rush in particular had some awful hair, but their lyrics are great. The big hair was just a part of the era, not just the music industry.

What? Are you going to try and defend Hendrix? Its like a group of the morbidly obese sat on the instruments and a tone deaf buffalo wailed into the microphone.

I dont need to defend an opinion on musical talent. Its in the eye (ear) of the beholder.

I agree with that completely, dont get me wrong. I just love my music so I like to debate it with people. I understand that other people can like groups I dont. I will never understand the existence of Bob Dylan however.

Cool...I understand what you're saying. It is, however, difficult to defend with any substantiated evidence one musical group/person over another. People like what they like.

Yeah, I like to hear peoples opinions, particularly on wht they like about their music. Like, I love the heavy metal, loud sound, with screaming guitar and usually falsetto vocals. It pumps me up. Thats why I love Motley Crue, etc.

Sorry I have to disagree as well. You probably think the guitarist is the best because you haven't heard of many other guitarists a la Slash fans. I'll try not to force my own opinions on the subject but I'm pretty sure Floyd and Hendrix are more than a "jumble of random instruments and vocals".

Hah! Did you see my earlier list of bands? I have heard MANY other guitarists. My opinion remains unchanged. Lets see. Joe Perry, Tom Scholz, Mick Jones, Slash, Jimmy Paige, Mick Mars, Bruce Hall, and Eddie Van Halen just for starters.

Yeah! Some one with taste. I like Iron Maiden a lot to. Motorhead also. But motley Crue is the best. I love Vince Neil's voice and energy. Plus the glam look is oddly cool.
