Im just curious. Not looking for advice, just wondering what you all do with old jerseys.

I mean, I will always wear my Reed, Lewis, and Ogden jerseys. But what will you all do with your McGahee, Heap, and Mason jerseys?

Will you wear them this year at all? Will you only wear them again once they retire? Will you use them to add that extra padding to the dog bed like you've been meaning to do?

Sound off!

EDIT: Me personally....I'll wear Heaps after he retires, I dont own a Mase, and McGahees is as good as recycled.

EDIT V 2.0 : You can select multiple answers but explain why, please

I let my mom and sister wear my jerseys of released players (last year, it was Clayton, now Willis is added to the mix).

I don't have a Ray Lewis yet, but when I do, I'll always wear it. Same for Reed.

I'd still rock em! Heap and Mase will always be Ravens in my eyes, and even when they are not, I would still cheer them on as individuals... all the while still wearing your teams colors. Win, Win!

Hope whoever wears 85, 86 and 23 pan out and then grab some needle and thread :)

I have two McGahee jerseys...one white and one black..if they were replicas i would be sending them to the Goodwill store but they are authentic and in great condition...i may go your route with the needle and thread.

I actually might even buy a Heap jersey because the price should go down pretty soon. I won't wear it but I'll hang it up with my Sizzle and Ray-Ray jerseys.

i remember saving my allowance for an entire summer for a Todd Heap jersey, i think it was 03 so i was 13, it was the greatest thing ever i wore it all the time, and i have no intention to stop wearing it, but my new ngata jersey might see some more street time

My 6 year olds little Heap jersey is getting framed with Heap's football card and any other items my boys want. We'll hang it in the room he and his 9 year old brother share, for memories. My oldest son says he's wearing his Willis Mcgahee jersey and so far has refused my offers to purchase a new one. He can wear it, but I'm still getting him a new jersey ;) Just need to work out which one.

Ill take your Mason Jersey, how can you get rid of his Jersey like he was Mark Clayton, look at what he has done to our Offense, we didnt have an Offense before he got here.

Ill help you recycle that Mcgahee jersey, never liked him, actually hated it when i saw him in the back field. Although i will admit he was more productive this yr than Rice running the Ball. (i said running, not catching and running, that belongs to Rice)

On a side note, i hope they dont think that the dump off pass to Rice is going to work this yr, Defenses are going to be ready for that. Thats all they did last yr. I think Rice got more recieving yds than any WR. lol thats sad in a way

I have Rice, Reed, and Flacco but dont have a Ray-Ray. I just didnt want one, cause in my eyes, EVERYONE and their grandmother has ray-ray. so i wanted to start off with different players.

I'll eventually get a ray one, i want a white one though, and they are kind of hard to find. i also want a Suggs, and my fiancee wants a Oher.

Im talking about running the ball, i hate to admit it because i love Rice and hated Mcgahee (i used to dread it when i saw him in the back field not knowing if he was going to get neg. yardage or fumble it) but Rice wasnt getting it done running. The dump off pass, now thats a different story. I just remember Mcgahee getting more yds and more productive than Rice, The stats may say different , i don't know havnt looked them up but i know what i saw.

Rice had 307 carries for 1220 yards with 4.0 yards per rush average. McGahee had 100 carries for 380 yards, 3.8 yards per rush. they both had 5 TD's a piece. the only thing McGahee was better at doing was getting the ball in the endzone. You may be thinking about 2 years ago, when Willis had a lot of break away runs.

Even if dude is thinking of 2009, Rice averaged 5.3 yds a carry to McGahee's 5.....just not sure how any of that is better than Rice. Dont get me wrong, I liked McGahee, just trying to figure out what hes talking about.

Yeah i agree. I don't see how McGahee ran the ball better than Rice, or that "Rice wasnt gettin it done running". Even if he wasnt gettin it done, its because of our line, so Willis wouldnt be gettin it done either.

As in the case of other former Ravens, I'll still wear their jerseys, just not during the season, especially if they've signed with another team.

I've met Willis and He's a really cool dude so I will definitely keep his jersey but I took off my Clayton jersey and threw it during the Colts/Ravens playoff game AKA his last game as a Raven.

I got an Ed Reed jersey, I'll wear it long after he retires, probably until it becomes ragged and falling apart

Yea and Willis was the back up and what i saw was Willis gaining yds when Rice wasnt. Im not a Willis fan by all means but he was more productive in running the ball last season , well atleast in the beginning and middle. Rice might of started picking up yardage toward the end of the season, i dont remember, but i do remember Rice not getting it done in the beginning.

Rice got more yds on the dump offs and screens but that was it. I know Rice will have a better yr this season with Leach infront of him and hopefully an improved O line, it cant get anyworse

Because my Mason jersey is signed, it'll stay on the wall in the fan-cave. As for Heap and McGahee, they'll probably stay in the closet with the rest of the collection. I did make a $10 offer to someone on eBay for a Gregg jersey, but he declined. I'll give it another month or two and see if I can get it dirt cheap.

Dude, you're wrong and you simply wont admit it. In fact, Rices stats fell off at the end of the year, so you're 180 degrees on that one. Sorry.....

Edit - Any worse? The guy had over 1,200 yards with a porous oline! Wowee wow!

i got to disagree with that..Ray Rice made positive yards even when he was getting hit in the backfield a lot of the times, Rice did as good as can be expected because the O-line was the problem, the blocking was just bad.
