Need help, guys and gals! Looking to buy some tickets for a friend as a thank-you gift. I will probably have to buy 2 tickets, which means I need to purchase in the Upper Deck. I noticed, though, that some of the upper deck sections like Section 527 and 516 have double letter sections (FF, GG, etc.), AND they also have regular row numbers when I look on stubhub. They'll be listed in different sections on stubhub and other ticket liquidator sections.

What does this mean? What "number" or "letter" do these sections actually start with? The number 1, the letter A, the letters AA?

I am so confused and have been looking everywhere online for an answer. Can't find anything! I called Ticketmaster and they said it only goes from AA-RR, but that wouldn't make sense because everywhere else says there are at least 30 rows in this section...and I have SEEN Row 30 tickets being sold!

Please advise ASAP. I appreciate your help and support!!!

I have sat up there many times and don't ever recall any double lettered seat rows. Sometimes this liquidators use general seating options from other stadiums. The rows in the 500 sections do go past 30, that's for sure.

Maybe you're looking at Ravens away games by mistake when you are seeing lettered rows?

Your a smart man. That could very well be the case. What games are you (OP) looking into?

I have been to many sections, all decks except suites, and never encountered rows described by letters. You may want to double check for legitimacy.
