I was at NYG stadium to see a game once and was way up the back, so i was thinking id have a better view up closer. here is a pic of the stadium seats

[center]I like my seats in 114, you can see the play develop and watch line play. Not sure there is a bad seat in the house, there are pros and cons for all of them.

119 , 117 are amazing too, had season tickets in each. Great fans around that area, and introductions are right out of that tunnel, you can feel the heat from the fire, its electric

my wife and i sat in section 127 last season for the Ravens vs Steelers on Dec 5th. awesome location! we were just 2 rows down under the broadcast booth! great view of the field at the 50 yard line! that will ALWAYS be the area that i shoot for when buying tickest since i am driving up from Chesapeake, VA for games!

aye 127 is what i was thinkng, massive price jump from it to 126, so 127 will prob be my choice, and just btw, do you reckon the jets or houston be better game to see? considering its probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for me

Any seat between the 35 and 50 yard line are excellent. If you can afford seats in the 125-128 section or 100, 101, 152, or 153, I'd get those.

Front row is always going to be better. You're closer to the action. 50 yard line is generally considered "optimal" seats, I've only sat in that area during the open practice but the view was incredible.

Also, home sideline is there (126), which means you're right behind the Ravens coaches and players.

50 yard line front row home sidelines would be absolutely optimal, but those are going to be expensive tickets. You're coming from the UK though..so I guess you're serious haha.

Are you planning on taking out a second mortgage? Seriously, you don't need the most expensive seats to get a good view. Anything in the lower level is good in our stadium. There are no obstructed view seats and something closer to the end zone actually gives a better view of the action. When you sit on the 50, you're watching all of the scoring from behind.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house. They are all great seats. Each area lets you see the game from a different aspect.

I've sat in nearly every section and I have no favorite. Sometimes I like the lower ring because you feel closer to the action. But up top you get to see the plays develop more (and if its a nice day, its beautiful up top.

If you want to see everything going on, go with up top along the sideline. If you want to be close to the action. Go with the endzone (great view of the opposing TV as well) down low.

You're around 115, correct?

I got 134 for Thanksgiving. Hoping that will give a great view of the guys running out of the tunnel.

Single game tickets don't officially go on sale until this Friday (AUG 5) at 10 am through Ticketmaster.

Right now you can buy tickets from season ticket holders since they have received the tickets. Through places like eBay or other related websites.

Yes, the 126/127 seats are sick, but they are also SO expensive... I watched the Ravens-Steelers game the 5th December (1 day after my birthday), sitting at 514 or 516, and that was also sick... I just went home really disappointed after Flacco first fumbled the ball and then couldn't complete the easiest throw to Ray Rice...

I've sat in most parts of the stadium since it opened in 1998. Here is my "always right" opinion:

126/127 - far back - lowest seats can be obscured by players standing up; poor perspective up to about row 15

226/227 - best seats in the stadium, any row -- best food & drink in the club lounge -- also the most expensive

526/527 - lowest rows - best perspective, best value tickets -- stay away from higher than about row 10 due to nosebleed hike up steps

note: same perspective for the sections directly opposite the stadium; however, you would be looking into the Sun and likely sweltering until late October games

Need help, guys and gals! Looking to buy some tickets for a friend as a thank-you gift. I will probably have to buy 2 tickets, which means I need to purchase in the Upper Deck. I noticed, though, that some of the upper deck sections like Section 527 and 516 have double letter sections (FF, GG, etc.), AND they also have regular row numbers when I look on stubhub. They'll be listed in different sections on stubhub and other ticket liquidator sections.

What does this mean? What "number" or "letter" do these sections actually start with? The number 1, the letter A, the letters AA?

I am so confused and have been looking everywhere online for an answer. Can't find anything! I called Ticketmaster and they said it only goes from AA-RR, but that wouldn't make sense because everywhere else says there are at least 30 rows in this section...and I have SEEN Row 30 tickets being sold!

Please advise ASAP. I appreciate your help and support!!!

As far as I know, you'd have to go off of the seating charts that Stubhub (or any other ticket liquidator) provides. As for double-lettering of seats, I can't attest to whether that's how seats are labeled. I only recall traditionally-numbered seats (Seat 1, 2, 3, etc.) within traditionally-numbered rows in each section, but I could be wrong.

Anyone else able to answer this question for this person?

Unfortunately the ticket liquidators don't show ANYTHING on their seating charts. I have tried every combination of Google search to find an answer for this, and can't find anything. :-( I don't think Ticketmaster even told me the correct information because I can see Row 32 for Section 525, as well as Row DD for Section 525. It's so confusing and frustrating to not get any answers. Thus, I registered for this board in hopes that you loyal Ravens fans can help me out. The person I'm buying these for is a die-hard Ravens fan and I know will be thrilled to get tickets, but I'd like to try and be sure I'm getting him "decent" tickets in that section. Thanks again!!!

No problem. Don't forget, you're not allowed to actually buy tickets from anyone here (we cannot legally facilitate such transactions, and that's for everyone's safety), but you can continue to check Ticketmaster and Stubhub to see if any tickets are put up for sale last-minute.

Ive just been on the StubHub site and I dont see any mention of lettered rows like you experienced. No clue how to advise you other than I've always used that site and NEVER had an issue.

The rows and seats at M&T are all numbered as far as I know. Im looking at my tickets right now as well, all numbers.
