[Blogs] Ravens Agree With Leach

BOOOM!!! I will miss Heap and McGahee. But this gets me excited again! I know Ray Rice has to be pumped! The whole offense just got better. Run game will be epic, and opposing teams will be so fearful of the run game, Flacco will flourish! In Oz we trust!! It's not over yet. When Ngata gets his contract straight, cap space will be freed up. I'm thinking Asante Samuel or Osi Umenyiora in a trade. Maybe Mase back. Let's Get It!!

P.S. The unwritten rule that you can't run the ball against the Steelers is now gonna have to be revised to say......... Unless you're Baltimore!

I like this pick up with leach being the blocking fullback that he is this might give leron mcclain the incentive to come back to Baltimore possibly as the redzone running back to compliment Ray Rice since Willis is gone

Just watched this, attribute almost all of those runs to Vonta Leach.
He sealed off his guy everytime. Could drive a truck through these holes, getting a real player with Vonta

Just watched the Vonta Leach video on NFL Top 100. Wow, I was excited to get him before I saw this. After watching this video I am downright giddy!!!

Just watched that video myself....did we pick up Arian Foster and the rest of the Texans offensive line?!? Wow, now Im excited too! In fairness, I did see Leach pick up (some) blocks when I could tear my eyes off of Foster. Le'Ron McClain was helpful in Ray Rice's yardage as well, I dont see the difference. Holes open up regardless of someone launching themself into the defensive front. With the loss of Heap, whoever's in the backfield aint gonna have much of a chance when they get blitzed on the edge constantly. Yeh well, least we can keep the 3 and out drinkin game goin, yay.

I guess that sends a message to Le'Ron McClain, I think our production in the run game slipped last year because he wanted to be a RB instead of a FB! I'm not hating on Le'Ron but what else could it have been? Either way Vonta is a beast and our run game just got a lot better!!

I am very happy with this move..Im happy we moved at all..We are number four on a list of worst free agency moves so far..We lost so much talent and relying on rookies too be impact players there first year,Am I the only one urked that all these Top numbers recievers are out there for the taking..We are not taking..Moss retiring, you kidding me,,,Guess we didnt have any room or money for him..Ocho being another weapon for Brady to throw to,unbelievable,,Pats gave up two third round draft picks to get him..what the heck....we signed like over 20 rookies to fill roster..I just dont get it..We all apparently have to get use to seeing Cam still play calling, but to who ???I love and respect Boldin, but you took Mason,Heap and replaced neither.I understand Kitna and Dickerson but thats no" Four guys hitting you at the same time and still holding on to the ball Heap "...Heap is going to have awesome year with Kolb throwing to him..Hey start signing or admit you are trying to have a rebuild season..Get rid of the old and bring in the new...I SAY CRAP !!!!!!!!THROW FLACCO , THROW.....RUN RAY RUN...

I like this pick up. Vonta seems to be a beast. Of all the players cut, I hope we resign Derrick Mason. He is all heart.

ok... this is great... no one will listen to me on the idea of putting webb returning punts and kicks. did anyone see what he did against pittsburgh last year?

I see what your saying but why would you risk him getting injured.

Let David Reed return some, he was starting to get the hang of it before his injury.

Im really starting to think people on this Forum are blockheads, Why do you people keep thinking Mclain is coming back as a running back, it aint happening , look at last yr, he was supposed to be a bruiser. There were multiple times that it was 3 and 1 and him losing yardage. Do you remember it being second and goal and ran it twice with no TD. People seem only to remember the Good. For as good as Mclain was supposed to be with punishing Defenses up the middle , he should did run to the sides alot, no body thats Rices job, you arnt fast enough sorry. Wish you the best.

We have Allen as a possible backup RB and he is pretty big, bigger than Mclain was. And its easier for rookie RBs to succeed in the NFL.
