I am with you on this one. That's the most I remember about his short yardage attempts the past two years. Even when given the opportunity he struggled to get the tough yards. Ofcourse this has a lot to do with bad O-Line play. But I don't recall to many times he ran over blockers to be the 'bruiser' he is suppose to be.

He's an okay runner but over hyped because he's a FB.

We dont need to sign anyone else, we have plenty of running backs that are up for the challenge. Parmalee, Allen and i think there are 2 others.

We just need a Pass Rusher, that is all.

Maybe Leach can pave the way for another UDRFA.

I like what I see in Anthony Allen on YouTube but I'm not gonna crown him the next Steven Jackson because he's a power runner with dreads. If he can be what Isaac Redman was for the Steelers last year I'd be very happy. I'd like to sign Ronnie Brown for a year but it may not be prudent given we have more pressing needs. He'd fit well in a rotation with Rice and Allen. I'm psyched about Leach tho. He'd make just about any RB look good.

I cannot wait to see Damien Berry on sundays. Im 99% sure this kid is gonna back up Rice. He has McGahee's number even in camp now (not that a number has anything to do with anything), but the fact is, the kids a beast from what i've seen on video. He almost runs comparable to McGahee. I WANT this kid to back up Rice!
