I can't say this for sure, but if we bring back McClain we'll still need to bring in a true FB, so why not just push hard for Leach.

The Ravens aren't looking for a playmaker at FB, they're looking for a hard noised, tough, physical, straight ahead not games blocker.

Again I can't say this for sure, but if we promised McClain, McGahee's carries, I think he'd focus more on being the best RB he could be, and that will definitely effect his FB play.

The Ravens really don't need a backup RB. Young, inexperience, sometimes undrafted RB make a name for themselves every year in the NFL. We already have our stud, we just need somebody or a combo of guys we can feel comfortable given 100-150 carries this year. All eyes on Allen and Berry.

I think the Ravens would really improve the running game with the addition of Leach.

The McClain Train needs to go somewhere he can shine and I don't think Baltimore is that place right now. As much as I'd like to see him return, I just don't think it'll happen.

According to Aaron Wilson, both Parmele and Smith were re-signed for less money. Divens and Steele flunked their physicals and were released.

I'm not big on the idea of Marion Barber no Ronnie Brown. I think they are both capable RB's but with the depth we have going on at present, I dont know where they would fit in. Neither wants to go somewhere and ride the bench...then again...its still a paycheck I guess.

What's taking so long for Vonta Leach to get signed. I assume he wants something in the $4 million dollars per season range.

Probably gauging offers from different teams. He's in the lucky spot of being a coveted FA, not a cast-off such as a Plaxico Burress or Roy Williams who have to jump through hoops to get even one offer.

i dont think we need to sign anymore FA RBs we can use what we have in our roster, rookies and sign mcllain to longer term contract. the UDFA rb damien berry looks pretty good, i think we got a steal.

That sounds about right. I really haven't heard too much talk other than he's available. no figures or anything.
