What amazes me is watching a lot of people pick the same exact teams to succed or fail over and over again. Mainly analysts. Sometimes I wonder if "experts" just don't have the balls to think outside the box on TV. I've learned over the last few years that every single season in the NFL is different. I've learned to pick different teams year in and year out.
Yea i know what you mean , its funny because they always picked the Texans too. Now they all say anyone expect the Texans, they are done picking the Texans. LOL they actually might do something this yr too.

Well its hard to get much worse right? I think they are much improved, but we will have to wait and see. Personally I dont think they will ever get far with Kubiak as their HC.
Oh yea they've gotten better, but remember, Daunte Robinson was a pretty good CB and that defense wasn't much good with him.

To be honest, I hope they are better, maybe now the Colts can finally stop getting a free ride to the Playoffs.

And you got that based off of what, 4-5 spot starts he's had over 3 years. The point I was making is we just don't know.

When Landry went down early in the 2008 season, not many, if any, people though little Jimmy Leonhard would come in and replace him so well. By the end of the season, half the people on this board though the Ravens made the biggest mistake in franchise history by letting Leonhard go to NY with Rex.

So there is no way of saying Zibby or Nakamura won't be as good as Landry. Because we just haven't seen those guys extensively.

I know Jimmy Leonhard was special and was very pissed off when he went to the Jetts. look at him now he is their Ed Reed.

The man can play

2 INTs in 2 years ≠ Ed Reed.

Seriously, a ton of people on here wanted him cut before they'd even seen him play. The rage was about carrying 5 safeties, haha, how did that work out?

We Did Have One of The Easiest Schedules But the teams that we were going to play this yr are looking pretty Stacked now with all the new Players they got, im starting to think that are Schedule is going to be harder than planned.

Has anyone else thought or realized this. Any Inputs???

I know we got a good team but now the other teams are starting to look good too if not better.

The Eagles are going to be the team to beat in the NFC now. We play them in the Preseason but man i dont think i would want to play them during the season, but if we do then that means we are playing them in the (dare i say it) Super Bowl.
The season is long and a lot can change. Who the hell on our scheduled got stacked now? The Steelers have done little to nothing (signed their own), the Jets lost some of their playmakers (Smith and Edwards), Colts (manning is injured, they lost Clint Sessions)

The Eagles are one Micheal Vick injury away from Being a team led by Vince Young. A lot of things can happen in a season. Lets leave the crowning for Kings and Queens.

He was routinely toasted last season before getting hurt.

No im talking about the nfc teams, Seahawks, Texans, Cardinals.

You dont think thoses teams have a better chance to beat us, because i pretty much checked them off as wins, to me their chances have gone up quite a bit now. They had good draft picks too but they addressed alot of positions that needed helped. I was 99% positive on a win vs the Cardinals, not now since they have a decent QB, yea they lost Breston but they still have a core of WRers.

I didnt say he played like Reed. But he is good at blitzing and i remember him doing alot of forced fumbles.

If you really think any team from the NFC West has a chance against us, you're overreacting to the cuts and a slow period of free agency for us. They're still that bad. The Cardinals D will still suck, regardless of what happens with Kolb, and the Seahawks have a weak defense and Tavaris Jackson is their QB. What is there to be scared of exactly? The Houston game was always going to be competitive for us. They have a great offense, and we all remember how the game against them last season went.

Our team is going to be competitive, just like it always is. We still have a weak schedule, there's nothing to freak out about.

Seahawks have done squat besides pick up Rice, who is questionable without a piping hot Favre. They traded away their franchise qb. Their run game and defense sucks.

Arizona got a new qb. He still needs to learn a new system and has limited starting exp. Their run game won't help him. They also traded away their best cb.

Houston has always worried me. Their defense will be better than last year. But they still need to get over their own hump. They seem to beat themselves, and struggle to win close games.

But I dont see any of those do a 'ton' in FA to make themselves better.

We have a very early bye week, I don't see that being easy on the players.
Hopefully we get a second bye week in December.

I would say the schedule is pending.... Because NFC West teams are usually weak, but there are always upsets in the NFL... We rarely sweep the Bengals ( but with no Palmer OR Ocho ) kinda hard to imagine us losing but those games are later in the year....

Colts, Steelers, Chargers are always difficult games...

Jets I just don't think they can beat us because it will be an out muscle brutal game... Sanchez would have to really be impressive imo.

I honestly believe we can win 11-13 games this yr...
