The Eagles will be a very fun team to play with in Madden.

Fun team in Madden but how will the Eagles fare in real life? If for some odd reason this all fails, I could see Andy Reid getting fired.

They should fare well. After the Packers, its between Philly and ATL.

Incarcerated Bob's reign of idiocy is over.

Guy said the Jets had a deal, now he's probably backpedaling faster than Asomugha on a team's worst receiver.
The guy is a fool and it won't stop. BDravens was saying he was screwing up NHL free agency predictions left and right as well. He also said the Bucs were major players for Aso, when it turns out they didn't even an ounce of interest.

And to top it all off. He thought he called 'Aso is now a Jet'. All those twitter Jets fans look like fools now.

It's not even August, but I really don't see how the Eagles won't make it to the Super Bowl(barring multiple injuries to key players).

While football logic would dictate that train of thought to be true, that's only on paper.

Games still need to be played. These players are still human and are not infallible. While these players' reputations precede them, there's been plenty of high-powered teams to do well in the regular season, only to collapse in the playoffs. The 2007 New England Patriots were the closest to appearing truly unstoppable with their all-star roster until the Super Bowl.

Like Franchise said, its all on paper. It looks very good no doubt. But who knows what the long season has in store for them. Perhaps Vick doesn't perform at the same level as last year. Injuries could occur. Playing in a tough division. They could end up losing a few games and be battling it out till the very end.

Eagles odds for winning the Super Bowl have just jumped. But they will still need to get past the Pack/Cowboys/Falcons/Saints probably just to get to the big game. A lot can happen, its never easier than it seems.

Eagles HC Andy Reid said on Saturday that he intends to use Nnamdi Asomugha at right cornerback this season.
Hardly a surprise, as RCB has been Asomugha's primary position throughout his career. However, it's also been Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's primary position. There's a good chance Rodgers-Cromartie could be shifted to nickel back if Asante Samuel is not traded.

I always remembered the theory that right-handed QBs tend to throw the ball to their right side rather than their left since it's more natural and have no obstruction of view. That means the left cornerback sees a lot of action. Way to spend $12 million dollar on a corner and just leave him in one side. If you're paying that much, at least make him shadow their top option. The Jets are getting their money's worth with Revis shutting down #1 WRs.

Dear Lord,

Please tell us how to stop a defense like this.

Amen

Eagle's defense (Nickel Package)

--------Babin--------Patterson--------Dixon---------Cole---------
--------------Clayton---------Matthews-------Chanley-------------
--Asomugha---------Asanta-------------Allen--------------DCR-----

With Phillip Hunt and Brandon Graham on bench
The obvious answer is to run, run, and run some more. The Eagles LB corps is almost laughably inexperienced. Chaney is a decent player, but you really want Casey Matthews as you starting MLB? Remember laughing at people who thought Casey Matthews could come in and start year 1, well it looks like its going to happen...

IMO Nnamdi is not the best fit in Philly. You already had two very good corners, but there are some big holes in the middle of the field now. They also lost Quintin Mikell who is a very underrated safety.
