What About Jamal Anderson?

8 posts in this topic

Atlanta Falcons DE Jamal Anderson (6f6 290) was cut early this morning. Do you think there is interest from the Ravens FO in the former 8th overall pick?

He would be a rotation guy at best for the Ravens but I doubt the Ravens go after a guy like that when guys like Ty Warren are still out there.

My bud is a big Falcons fan so Ive seen a bit of this guy. Hes a good player, with great size and athleticism. He had himself a dominant college career, worth of being a top 10 pick. I just feel his potential is totally untapped to date. In a system like ours he may thrive and be dominant on the end. Sign him to a 1 year deal on the cheap side and see where it goes.

Adrian Wilson said he highly doubts that the Ravens will go after Warren though because he is almost an identical player to cory redding.

I don't think he's ever played in the 3-4 (Arkansas ran a 4-3) and Atlanta uses a base 4-3. Don't know if he could make that transition or maybe he is actually suited to play in the 3-4? If he comes cheap, sure add him.

am i the only one that thought this was a joke thread about the 98' dirty bird falcons RB?....like he wanted to come out of retirement like a hershel walker and be one of the oldest to play in the NFL.
