Texans get Joseph, Nnamdi may just go to the Jets, and we may keep Carr...

looks like nnamdi will go to the jets.

If the Texans could get Nnamdi too they would be a very very tough team to beat.

Which is good and bad news. Bad news because i cant stand the Jets, and their making all the moves i wish we were doing. Their secondary would be absolutely impenetrable. On the other side is they would have to lose players at key positions making them crap in every other area beside their secondary..

So help me god if Nnamdi goes to The Jets. However, it's good to see that the Jets would rather sign Asomugha instead of addressing other team needs.

Agreed. They'll end up with the best pair of corners in the NFL, but they'll be tying up (at least) $20 million per year doing so. That, along with (over)paying $50 million for Santonio, is going to hurt them in other areas.

I almost wouldn't be surprised if they landed him. Their pass defense was horrid last season. Like 8.2 yards/attempt, 100+ QB rating, 33 TDs horrid. They need all the help they can get.

That's just not fair... but they are the Texans, so I have no doubts they'll find ways to miss the playoffs again.

The Texans have no one at NT. That means we just run down their throats till they get a mental breakdown.

But goodness, their pass rush will be scary with this line-up

-----JJ Watts----Fill-in------Mario-----
---C. Barwin--Ryans---Cushing----B.Reeds--

This is going to be interesting because the Texans want to use Mario Williams as a rush lineback, yet they don't have enough depth or personal to fill their NTs or 5 tech DEs. I assume they're going to raid a bunch of 3-4 teams including the Ravens.

Where are the Jets weak at, outside of QB and NT? They have a decent stable of running backs with Greene and Tomlinson, they have a solid receiver with Holmes and possibly Moss, and they have one of the best OLs in the entire league. Rex is a good enough defensive coordinator to mask weaknesses in his pass rushers and the safeties, and with that defense and running attack they can win. I'm having a hard time finding how Nnamdi would cripple them, at least in the short term.

The only way to beat the Jets if they get Nnamdi is to run on them and hope it works. We play them Week 4 and we'll probably see them in the playoffs, I certainly hope Oz is looking to Matt Light and Leach/Vickers to improve our blocking or we're going to have a hard time beating them.

Great move by the Texans though, Joseph is a very solid player that will help shore up their pathetic secondary. I don't know if they're a contender this year, but give Wade another year to fill in the holes in his 3-4 and they'll have a real shot with that offense.

They do have quite the loser of a QB!! More INT's than TD's and a completion percentage of 55%? HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Asomugha has no experience flipping sides and putting 24 million in two positions is bad business, especially if you've got no pass rushers and no money to pay one, you're only as strong as your weakest position. Rex needs to realise there are usually more than two receivers on the offenses now days/
