Suggs Sitting Out Of Practice Now - Hamstring Pull

Someone on TV mentioned there were going to be tons of hammy issues throughout this year's training camp and pre-season... nothing to be overly worried about.

That might explain it. I tried finding more about the injury I'm probably misremembering from 2009 but couldn't. My bad. Still would like to know more about his current fitness though.

You're not the only one. I'd hate to see fat Terrell back but I don't think a hammy pull definitely means he's out of shape.

Suggs was messing around trying to be Stephen Spielberg during the offseason instead of focusing on football, so an injury like this isn't a surprise. Still, a pulled hamstring isn't anything debilitating, I'm sure he'll be good to go once the season starts.

For those who are worried Suggs has put on weight, I'm pretty sure it would have been reported on if it seemed he did gain a bit of weight this offseason. But it hasn't, so chill.

"No less than 11 players suffered what appeared to be minor injuries during the first day of Ravens training camp at the team’s facility in Owings Mills Thursday. Cramps plagued at least seven players, including wide receivers James Hardy and rookies Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss and fullback Jason McKie.

Offensive tackle Eric Vanden Heuvel and linebacker Jason Phillips were carted off the field. Left tackle Andre Ramsey pulled up after a play with a right calf injury, and rookie wide receiver Terrell Zachery had a bag of ice wrapped around his left knee."
