I would say give Fox a chance and just reconstruct his contract, because he is imo gettting paid way to much. Then see how he bounces back from the injury. As for the WRs future wise specially for Doss and Smith, they should be a HUGE addition to this team. As of now Q is the man, he's exactly like that old timex cliche, and I just hope Joe doesn't hang him out to dry like Boller did to Heap for many of seasons.

They cut Mase and Heap because they are both getting up there in age, and they drafted Dickson/Pitta for the sole purpose of filling in for Heap and taking over for him. That's why they cut Mase, they drafted Doss, Smith etc. and besides Q, it looks like they might be trying to go younger and develope these drafted rookie WRs, and younger WRs that they have.

we dont need to add any dang steelers! and mike sims walker is already close to a deal with chicago and hes probably going to be a bit expensive i think a good addition will be james jones he is big fast his only flaw is his catching abilities

only flaw? thats a pretty big flaw. correct me if im wrong but isnt the goal of the position to catch the football before anything else? last thing we need is more drops in big games

@xRonaldx23 the big difference is they have depth at those positions. there is not an excessive of depth at corner. I also suspect that while foxworth is making a fair amount that the nature of his contract makes it such that cutting him won't free up substantial cap room

I think Foxworth is over paid, he needs to restructure his contract. I would love to have signed Johnathan Joseph, or Josh Wilson. The one year Foxworth played he struggled a lot, I remember him not being physical enough, and constantly slipping. Can we sign Ronnie Brown, Malcom Floyd, and bring back Heap for the 2011-12 season.

Okay here’s my conspiracy theory…the reason why Ngata hasn’t been signed yet, and why it appears we’re not talking to Nnamdi…both of them are working together to come to mutually cheaper contracts, to be right under the cap from the Ravens to put together one of the greatest defenses of all time. Nobody’s talking about it because if it doesn’t go through Ngata doesn’t want to make it seem like he’s the one who made it fail.

Nnamdi waiting for Ravens to sign Ngata and cut Foxworth while he's packing for the cross country move.
Nnamdi big bucks hit the fan and he hasn't accepted any offer yet. Of all the characters in the NFL this is one guy Harbaugh definitely would get along with. The money might not make sense but every single other piece of the puzzle would make perfect sense.

Ngata isn't signed because all veteran players who sign a new contract now can't participate with their team until the new league year begins (Aug 4th). That's why Yanda is not there yet. Since Ngata is operating on the franchise tag he can practice now. Expect to see Ngata on a new contract shortly after the new league year begins.

I'm sure Ngata contract isn't signed due to more than him practicing. That's a good point but who's to say more isn't unfolding behind that. Ngata is very much in shape and could afford to wait until Aug. 4.

Im really glad to see that this guy seems to be bouncing back from his injury. Hopefully he can still bring the pass rush and talent to the field that the front office saw when the drafted him.
