Your putting Eli in there! Why? IMO he hasnt lived up to potential at all.there's loads of guys i would put ahead of him:Leftwich, Mcnair, Green, Culpepper , Vick Schaub,Romo,Young, Delhomme...[more] And maybe even; KYLE BOLLER!

In terms of Quarterbacking skill, Eli is definitely top 10.

He has all the intangibles to be great

Strength, Accuracy, Touch, Good Footwork, Good Pocket-Presence, and he's a competent leader

Also, he didn't have that bad of a season last year

Leftwich is an injury-prone underachiever

McNair, as much as I like him, is getting older and doesn't have that great of an arm

Green is getting older and hasn't shown much recovery from his concussion

Culpepper is virtually immobile after his injury, and his arm strength has diminished

Vick needs to work on his passing and needs to at least eclipse 3,000 yards once in his career to be considered.

Schaub is unproven and IMO no where near the QB Eli is

Romo is also unproven and hit a lot of rough spots towards the end of the season

Young, like Vick, isn't much of a passing QB; a great leader, yes. But a great passer, no

Delhomme is teetering, his job security is almost 0; why do you think the Panthers brought in David Carr

Kyle Boller... no

Brady, Manning, Brees, Mcnabb, Palmer, Mcnair, Pennington, Vick, Vince Young.

But then again my opinion on where Young is on my top10 will change soon he's only going into his 2nd year but will be bumped up quick if he play's this year like he did the end of last year.

Manning - How anyone can say otherwise is a mystery to me.

Brees - Whether with San Diego's nonames or NO's budding stars, he's always throwing for numbers and winning games.

Palmer - Far and away the best thing that Cincy has going for them. The team's success is built on him.

Brady - I hate him, and believe that he's far more a product of his team and his coach than those I put above him, but you have to give him props.

Bulger - Look at the numbers. He's been producing for years. If the Rams only had a defense...

McNair - He's not gonna blow folks away any more, but look at the leadership and intangiables. Look at Baltimore 2005 vs. Baltimore 2006.

McNabb - He's got great skills, when he's healthy...

Young - He can make things happen by himself, he's got a strong arm. Another year or two will determine if he's not just The Return of Mike Vick.

Hasselbeck - Makes good decisions, has the experience to make it to the Big Game.

Rivers - A good young rookie, won't lose you a game. Of course, it helps that he's got the MVP in the backfield.

I'd never put Vick or Young in top 10, but that maybe because I feel a good QB needs to be able to read defenses and show an ability to pass the rock.

Come now. That's not fair at all. Young can pass the ball. It's only Vick who can't.

Yeah you're right, I shouldn't just his 66 QB rating as an inability to pass the ball. Only an inabililty to pass it to his own teammates :P

Not bad for a rookie, sez I. Besides, I find his ability to pass the ball more than ten yards to be promising. If you combine his potential as a passer with his running ability and his intangiables, you should have a QB that will have a place on a succesful NFL team.

Michael vick what?!

LOL. I'll trust Fisher and Chow to develop him but it is way to early to consider him a top 10 QB.

leinhart will be more likely to make the list than cutler

Agreed. Cutler to me is going to be like Favre in that he'll take alot more risks than you want him to but if they pan out he'll be great if not he'll be gone.

EA doesn't really like him so they want him to get the Madden jinx. They say "it worked on Vick" :P

From what I heard on NFL Total Access, no one else really wanted the job. Apparently there's a lot of promotion work involved and Madden wasn't paying enough to make it worthwhile (or to take on the jinx, either).

For awhile everyone was saying Palmer was going to be on it, and he wanted to be on the cover so I'm suprised he didn't go after it. Then again it was prolly all rumors and false information, I wouldn't want to take the chance of getting the "madden curse".

You sure it was NFLTA. The Brushback did something like that as a joke article saying VY gets Madden Cover after 12 others say no.

In an article currently up on espn.com/page 2 Bush evidently wanted to be on the cover too.
