Hey Raven fans, I am a Giants fan and want to ask you guys what you would seem fair in a trade for Osi. I said we should ask for...
-M. Oher for Osi
-B. Grubbs for Osi and a 5th
-Ngata for Osi and a 2nd
-A 1st for Osi
-Two seconds for Osi
-A 2nd, 3rd and 4th for Osi
What do you think of those deals?
Too high too low or just right?
[/quote]
now thats funny.. Thanks for the laugh :)

 I like this guy...

Osi, at this point, isn't worth more than a 4th Round pick.

No disrespect to you or your team, but look what you're asking. All those players you posted are young in there prime and could be if they aren't already become the best at their position.

Osi is old, coming off hipsurgery. And you guys just signed kiwanuka or what's his name is to an extension. You guy don't have any leverage to begin with.

If Osi could play a 3-4 OLB, I would be interested but he is strictly a 4-3 DE. I can see someone like Denver taking the bite on him since they need 4-3 players

Regarding Docket, as Stone Cold would say... Oh Hell Yeah!!!! Docket lining up opposite of Ngata with Cody in the middle... I'm foaming at the thought of that.

How about Ngata for Osi, a 1st this year and a first next year, and Hakeem Nicks? That sounds good to me

Well Its seems you guys are smart.Thats why I have always respected your team even when you beat us in 2000. Hopefully we can convince a dumb team (Bengals arent very bright) to give up a bunch (Rivers or maualuga or Whitworth or a 1st) for osi. Maybe they would do it. Thanks for the responses!

Dockett has shot down all of those rumors via Twitter... it's not happening, like everything else apparently.

Wilson only got 13.5 mil right? I would have thought the Ravens could match that. It makes sense that they'd let him walk to get a pass rusher instead, because he didn't really get more than he was worth.

But.... But ... ..lol

Our GM is on fire... Signed one of our good starting LBs for 3.5 mil a year... our probowl RT for 5 mil a year...

That DE is next.. Osi or Ray Edwards.. Osi leaves in Georgia.... Come home Osi...lol.. Come hommmmmmmmmeeeee

Hahaha, I'm good. I really just want the Ngata deal over and done with. It usually doesn't take us this long to lock up our own guys... and it's making it difficult to do anything in FA.

It would probably take a 3rd and a 5th to get Osi, and he'd probably be just a situational pass rusher that will command big $$$$

No thanks

First... i think it will be a great move for the ravens even though he would play a 3 down imo....2nd Rey Edwards is also a great fit for the ravens.... but he is a player who gets big time money..... but he has said he wants to play for a contending team..... any move is good for me and the ravens... ravens have enough money to pay any player 'cause the waivered their key veterans!!!

I'd rather take a shot with Shaun Ellis. We had success getting a good couple years out of a supposedly washed up Pryce, so maybe we have the same luck with this guy. Worst case scenario he is situational and can give us info on the Jets

Ellis is 34 tho, Osi is 29... I like Osi and wouldn't mind giving up late round picks for him if the Giants wanted to go that route.

Don't get our hopes up. We rarely sign free agents or make huge moves, They always take chances on low paying guys or cut veterans. Osi wants to much money, he's holding out for a huge payday and he has alot of health issues. Look for us to sign a worthless cut veteran or travis fisher

I say we just resign Gaither and Chris Carr and roll with who we got. Maybe resign Todd Heap because he can still come through in the clutch and sentimental reasons be damned he's still a better TE right now than Dickson/Pitta.

So, I say we do that and we roll into the season with Kruger, McClain and Kindle opposite of Suggs in the 3-4 and Kindle, Kruger or Redding opposite of Suggs in the 4-3.

I don't think we need help with our pass rush personnel wise. I think all the "help" and "change" is going to come from Chuck Pagano and the maturation of Kruger + the addition of Kindle.

I like developing our own guys and being a home-grown organization.

I don't think Paul has what it takes to start full time in the NFL.

We almost never spend big bucks on a young FA that is about to reach his peak (exception being Foxy, McCrary, and maybe Sam Adams, and I don't even know exactly how much money we spent on the last 2)

Mason was 31 when we signed him. McNair was 33. Pryce was 31. Deion was old. Birk was 33. Goose was 30. Sharpe was 32. Woodson was 33

We have never signed a big time money deal with a young player in his prime. They were for the most part on veterans that might be able to come in cheap

We only spend big deals on our own guys
