Darnell Dockett's contract:

9/1/2010: Signed a six-year, $56 million contract. The deal contains $30 million guaranteed, $28 million of which is guaranteed for both skill and injury. Dockett is eligible for annual $250,000 workout bonuses. 2011: $2.35 million (+ $15 million option bonus), 2012: $3.4 million, 2013: $4.45 million, 2014: $5.5 million, 2015: $6.55 million, 2016: Free Agent

Do you really want this on your plate. Don't forget he's already 30 years old.

Maybe the FO is busy getting Haloti that long term deal. That would create some cap space.

Yes, then we use it to nab Nnamdi??? Hey, I can dream!

The fit makes more sense than Babin, Joseph, or Aso.. who all the fans wanted, but Osi makes sense in every aspect except his price tag

Oh crap, he gets paid $17.35 million dollars in 2011. That alone scared all the suitors away. Looks like Dockett is off our radar. It was fun while it lasted.

Joe is a proven franchise QB and if he can win the Super Bowl, our Front Office will give him $12-15 million dollar contract easily. The premium on Franchise QBs are like $16 million dollars.

Kolbs got paid before he can prove himself, which could be a disaster. Aaron Rogers earned his money by getting 4000 yards and now is considered underpaid with a Super Bowl under his belt.
Yup, it looks like a matt cassell deal. Pay him a boat load upfront and hope he is what we thought he was.

LOL, Darnell Dockett would be awesome since he knows the 3-4 Defense.

We'll just cheer Arizona up by giving a 2nd round pick they lost in the Eagle Heist.

If we do get Dockett, looks like Redding has to go.

A little premature on Kindle don't you think?

Ravens said Kindle looks good at training camp. I think that extra year off helped him to be fully healthy with those knees and head. Also, he had an year to study the playbook.

Like Blake Griffin, he's going to be coming right out of the gate with fire.

Leron doesn't fit our needs. He won't be back, unless its as 2nd RB. I think someone else will take him off the market for more money then were willing to pay him. Leach seems likely to me.

He was also said to struggle in pass coverage. I expect big things from Kindle, but it was one practice.

So give him the 2nd RB spot. Give him Willis role of goallineback and let Jason Mcfee or whats his name is block. Extend Ray Rice's career and keep him fresh troughout the season. He already showed us in 2008 that he could run the ball. So why not?

lmao the guy is a natural athlete. We play enough 43 to keep him comfortable but he could gradually transition to 34 because of his athleticism.

Sleeping on Osi's versatility <<

The ONLY problem is his price tag

I guess he does read rumors around the internet. After seeing his contract, there's no way our Front Office will trade for him.

Well the price it would take to get him AND the price of his desired deal. Not to mention the injury concerns, he's been battling a hip injury for about a year and just got surgery on it - he's going on 30, too. Even if it was a seamless transition to our D, he's got more worries than his price.

Yup, not to mention his knee has also been reconstructed within the last few years...

Hey Raven fans, I am a Giants fan and want to ask you guys what you would seem fair in a trade for Osi. I said we should ask for...
-M. Oher for Osi
-B. Grubbs for Osi and a 5th
-Ngata for Osi and a 2nd
-A 1st for Osi
-Two seconds for Osi
-A 2nd, 3rd and 4th for Osi
What do you think of those deals?
Too high too low or just right?

Ngata and our Olinemen won't be budging. DEFINITELY not Ngata.

I think a 3rd and a 4th would be pushing it to be honest. Its what we gave up for Boldin.

Heck why don't we just give you our whole team for your leftovers while we're at it.

A third rounder at most.
