Fantasy Football

anybody pick ravens players???
i have ray rice, todd heap, and ravens D. what does everyone else have??
and i am sorry if this was a previous post....

I have McGahee (he somehow was still sitting there for me at the end of the 4th round of my draft) and Rice but played neither this past week. Marion Barber got me tons of points, as did Matt Forte....on my bench. I played Steven Jackson and was immensely let down by him.

I have Heap too, but needless to say was not thrilled with the -1 point he ended up giving me...but I'm sticking with him against the Texans, hopefully he'll have a good game.

Planning on picking up our D off of waivers too. Jaguars D was horrible fantasy wise last week and it along with Heap are the reasons I lost my opening game.

i have heap and the ravens defense. i started heap over lj smith this week.....bad choice. i actually sat the ravens defense too for the steelers defense. i ended up getting an extra point out of that one, i think

I was thinking about starting Heap myself, but seeing as he's not going to be 100% and I have other options at TE I'm going to sit him this week and hope he'll be back to the old Heap by Week 3.

Also I have this to say about of D: I'm stunned you'll be able to get them on waivers. I was ridiculed for having a "man crush" on all things Ravens when I drafted them and then could only laugh as they got me 15 points (in my league) as we rolled up on the Bengals.

I just picked up our D and the Bills D off of waivers. I'm gonna have to play the Bills this week though because I have Andre Johnson who I essentially HAVE to start and I may end up starting Owen Daniels over Heap now that I've thought about it. Kinda defeats the purpose to have 2 of my players going up against my own defense...hopefully the Bills will build on week 1 against the Jags though.

I also added the Bills because they have 4 legit return men who are all threat to score a quick 6 and they have a good DL good corners and good linebackers they are a fantasy owners dream defense they may not be great as far as the actual game is concerned but they can score D/ST points in bunches for a fantasy owner.

Ravens D went up almost +40.0% owned after week 1 on ESPN FF.

I got the Ravens D, Willis, and Ray Lewis


None of those are going to start everyweek since I got Chris Johnson and Westbrook ahead of Willis. Bunch of guys like Beason, Ryans, Ware and others. Then I have the Vikings D lucky I started the Ravens D this week.

How is it you have individual defensive players for your fantasy team?

I have Tom Brady, Marques Colston, Todd heap, Andre Johnson, Ed Reed, and the Ravens Defense. So Much for my fantasy team this year.

Some leagues have defensive players. DB, DL, and D (anyone who plays defense)
my defenseive players are: Reed, Jason Taylor, Trent Cole, Demarcus Ware, Sean Jones, Patrick Kerney, Nick Harper, Bob sanders, Zac Diles and Keith Rivers.

Ahh gotcha all the leagues I've been in have only had the individual offensive players and then D/ST.
