Just because we arent in the headlines doesnt mean we arent moving ahead. I love Mase and heap as much as every other fan, but we have to come to reality sooner than later, we cant pay them for what they did in the past, only for what they can do in the future. heap was awesome when he was healthy...WHEN he was, its time to see what our young guys can do. Mase and boldin are the same type of WR so its natural to cut ties, maybe sign at a lower cost and go after some speed. Id like to see us go after leach the FB and snag joseph rather than getting Nnamdi, didnt rice have his big year behind lorenzo neal? anyways, theres tons to happen and just because we dont land the number 1 guy doesnt mean we failed. When has ozzy dropped the ball?

The Colts, the Steelers, the Pats, and the Pack haven't made any huge splashes in FA, so why would we be concerned.
Maybe because the Ravens have generally been inferior to all of those teams. In fact, they have lost to them 7 times in the last two years. The first two have knocked Baltimore out of the playoffs 3 consecutive times.

They may not have much to work on, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Baltimore doesn't.

Why do people want Osi? My best friend is a Giants fan, ive been talking to him recently about Osi. He cant stuff the run at all. Hes gonna want a big contract, expecially with C.Johnson just gettin $72 million. We dont have the money to get him IMO.

Some names. Most of them aren't sexy. But they are the 'meat' of a team.

Jonathan Joseph (CB), Kalif Brown (OL), Jamaal Brown (OL), Jermon Bushrod (OL) *He's a guy I would love*, Tyson Clabo (OL), Willie COlon (OL), Matt Light (OL), Jeremy Trueblood (OL), Bryalon Edwards (WR), Malcom Floyd (WR), James Jones (WR), Laurent Robinson (WR), Mike Sims-Walker (WR), Steve Smith NYG (WR), Micheal Adams (CB), Brent Grimes (RFA CB), Ellis Hobbs (CB), Heath Evans (FB), V Leach (FB), Brad Hoover (FB).

I won't even get into the LBs and DL because I am not always sure who's a beter fit for a 3-4 or 4-3.

I expect there to be some big name cuts as well when teams need to get under the CAP.

Both D-Will and Mark Clayton are free agents. It could be just like old times. Anyone?

I have to agree, frustration is starting to kick in. Let do something, what about Ray Edwards across from Terrell. Now that would put some fear in QB hearts.

Let it all out.

I'm just frustrated that we aren't doing anything.

Why is it that people expect for us to sign big names every single year?? Didn't we just sign Boldin last year? This is an characteristic of our fans that i get heckled for all the time for by Steeler fans and sadly enough it's true.

FOCUS ON KEEPING YOUR PLAYERS AND IMPROVE DURING THE DRAFT!!!!!!!

People forget how quiet the Steelers are around this time of year and then later in the year stare in awe as we're once again bested by them.Lets not give all the credit to the Steelers either, the Patriots have helped prove this theory as well.

Free Agency isn't the key to getting to a Superbowl. This is something that Rex Ryan hasn't learned from last year and he'll be once again slamming down his headset, come the end of the season, after this lesson is revisited.

Why are people complaining about us complaining? Do we not have a right to? You may see things different than I do. Your opinion is your opinion. Stop ridiculing people because they don't like how things are going. They have a reason why they are concerned. This is a topic to vent it out so it doesn't clog the threads.

I like the plan here, if people want to be concerned then fine, that is their right as a fan. However to turn it towards the greatest GM in the league is a little extreme wouldn't ya say ? I think he is handling it smart ink your own players to see how much money you have left so that way you are not hurting when the season starts. not saying avoid free agency at all but if you were building a house, would you go buy a car before you knew the house was complete? Especially with the way things are going now, that is what I think the theory is here.

This is a topic for angry people...there shouldn't be any other options...if you're not angry then don't post on here...that simple.

Also the poll is there to lighten the mood a bit.

I haven't heard a peep about Bushrod... why would NO let him go? I see him returning, unfortunately, but maybe he wants to come home a la Josh Wilson?

Well it didnt really specify which part of free agency a fella was to supposed to be angry about. That being said I take it your not much for debate just looking for yes men lol. Either way I am angry at FA because other people are angry at FA isnt that what this is supposed to be about.

I love that the "Anger Corner" thread immediately got hijacked by a bunch of people just repeating "Stop whining, Ozzie knows what he's doing!" over and over again. I love Ozzie but too many fans act like he's God. If he truly was somehow completely beyond reproach or questioning, we should have more than just 1 ring. Dock me points all you want, but stop being delusional. Ozzie is human. He's an amazing GM, has helped build and run a great organization, but he is also totally capable of making mistakes (Kyle Boller, anyone?). All some fans want to do is cheer every decision the guy makes the moment it happens, and when it turns out something was a mistake it's always somebody else's fault, or explained away as being caused by unforeseen circumstances. Honestly it's getting kind of nauseating.

For those of you wondering how people who call themselves fans could possibly be upset, here's a primer:

1. We just cut three of the greatest, most well-loved Ravens of all time, and the word is that at best we'll get one of them back, if any at all. These were all pillars of the team and their sudden departure will, and you may not like to admit this, bother the locker room. Players are human. Nobody likes to see their friend, who they've been working with for years and who has been great at their job, get laid off because of cutbacks. It will be disruptive and have an adverse impact on that locker room.

2. We just let our No. 1 corner walk away. For the last 4 years we've been searching for someone, anyone, to step up and play like a great cornerback on this team. Our pass defense has been consistently cited as the Achilles' heel of what is otherwise a legendary defense. So we finally find a guy who is a solid, stud corner, and we let him walk rather than match a paltry 3-year, $13.5mil contract. Sources said we "weren't close". So what did we offer him? One year, $1 million, and a fruit basket?

3. Right now our secondary is nothing but question marks. From cornerback to safety, we're looking at a mix of young, unproven guys and guys coming off of severe injuries and surgeries. Again, all question marks.

4. We want a pass rush, but who's out there? Besides Ray Edwards, who will come at a HUGE mark-up, there aren't really any great options out there, and the longer we wait, the fewer options become available and the higher the price for those few remaining options gets.

5. We want a blocking fullback, so why haven't we gotten one yet? The team said they were so determined to add that dimension back on to our offense, so where's Lawrence Vickers? Where's Vontae Leach? Why are we waiting for somebody else to go after them instead of us?

6. Who's going to back up our O-line? Have we even been talking to Chris Chester? Behind Yanda, Birk and Grubbs we've got a bunch of undrafted free agents, also known as "See you in two to four years" guys. I don't think we've ever even made it a full season without losing one of our starting offensive linemen to injury, so who's going to be there to step up if it's an interior lineman this year?

7. Are we ever going to get a compromise that raises the debt ceiling?? Wait, sorry, wrong angry corner.

Ozzie has to be up to something. We have actually downgraded this offseason. There has to be a push for Nnamdi, Joseph, or Cromartie and atleast a reciever. Whether it be malcon floyd or braylon edwards

Wilson kept growing and growing on me all year long. Real sad to see him go, especially to the Redskins lol =(

As well as Josh played last year, he would've been battling for the nickle spot between Webb, and I doubt that Ozzie is willing to pay 3+ million for a nickle CB.

We should sign 1 cheap vet, and we are good to go at the CB position.

Has Gaither officially agreed to join the Raiders yet? That's the only thing I'd be slightly annoyed about. But, considering it is Al Davis we're talking about here, it's likely we were out priced for him. I don't blame Ozzie for not wanting to make a significant investment on Gaither.

Nnamdi, Nnamdi, Nnamdi NNAMDI!

Now that is out of the way. I am not really angry yet or steamed. I didn't gather inner frustration actually until I read this thread. You guys sound like a lynch mob, you almost had me come down off my porch and join you. I am going to however be patient and see what happens today and tomorrow. I don't want to see 19 guys signed or 11, or whatever high number a few of you my had said other team signed to gain nothing. I just want to see 1! One good player to help bring out defense back to how it was a few years back... our defense is starting to rely more on the offense to get it done. I can remember the days our defense won games, I can remember when the ravens defense won us a superbowl.

I know things change, but this is a defensive football team, and when you have a guy like Nnamdi as a FA atleast make him a offer. I love the ravens because of our defensive players, Suggs, Lewis, Reed, Ngata big names, but it would be nice to bring in another pass rusher or a corner back that can be put on the list with those 4 guys.

Oh I can debate. I just think it's quite idiotic to argue about if I and the other people in this thread should be angry...we have completely different ideologies about the Free Agency period than you do. So I'm just saying stop ridiculing people that think differently about a situation than you do.
