The point of free agency is to improve your team. The ravens haven't don't that. In fact they have downgraded so far.

Free Agency is far from over. Happy about Marshall Yanda, disappointed about Josh Wilson, but still have a lot of players available in the market.

That's also what the Indians thought about the pioneers...that didn't work out too well.

This is how free agency is usually for us. I"m glad the Ravens FO hasn't dug us in a ditch we'll be climbing out in a few years.

We signed Yanda, Working on Ngata. Let's sign our draft picks. FA isn't over either.

We'll be in the playoffs again.

Being in the playoffs isn't good enough. I want a division title and a HOME playoff game for a change.

That doesnt really matter when it comes to signing Free Agents. Keeping your own players is just as important if not more so than bringing in new guys.

Exactly!!! We stayed the same and lost play makers which makes us worse...while everyone (our competition) got better.

But we already signed Yanda...so in essence we are about the same team...we need to get better to win it all.

What did you people expect? We had to free cap space for Yanda and Ngata.. We did. And now what? We have enough space to sign our Rooks and possibly Mason, Heap, or Gregg back. So people are pissed because Ozzie's not reaching for Rice/Holmes/Aso or because Ozzie's "cutting" our vets...
We're making all the right moves right now and our team will certainly not be worse than last year (Jimmy and Torrey Smith).

I am annoyed about Wilson leaving, we lost Stallworth and never even gave him a chance I am hearing nothing aboutthe Ravens showing any interest in Edwards who is now gone Asomugha may go to the Jets of all places what kinda of BS is that We made no attempt to get Holmes or Rice and outside of Burgess and Yanda who have we locked up I hope we are in for a big day 3 and 4 because I am getting annoyed when i see other AFC teams improve and we seem to be just content to being the 4th best team in the AFC every year.

We have a lot more money than that, and will have even more once Ngata is signed long-term.... it's time for us to make a move for the present [i]and[/i] the future.

Exactly his franchise tender is 10% of the cap. So getting him a long term deal is paramount

Its hard to just sit back and watch other teams spend a lot of money on big name Free Agents, but I think last year's team was perfectly capable of winning a Super Bowl.

Was the team perfect? No, but there are always going to be some weaknesses in every team. As long as we keep the core components of the team going forward and add some pieces to help we can be a Super Bowl contender for years to come. I really dont think adding one big name at the expense of others is a guaranteed Super Bowl.
