You cant be serious...

We sure as hell aren't signing a superstar. You know how the team works; let FA die down, then go after role players.

wiiiiilson!!!! Damn the Ravens must have been way off in their numbers. I cannot believe Wilson would leave an organization like the Ravens for one of the most notoriously bad organizations in football like the Skins. That really bugs me.
So funny, but I think he also chose redskins because its close to home.

He played well with the Falcons in '08 as their top CB.

It's important to note that the majority of the league hasn't gone through with their cuts yet. They'll be paring down their rosters in order to accommodate the new salary cap and to make room for their drafted players. This means that there'll likely be a handful of good corners added to this already-immense free agent class on Friday.

Yeah, thats a good technique for getting VALUE..now we dont do that every year, every year is different..if theres a player they feel strongly enough about and they can make it work it gets done

Champ Bailey, Darrent Williams, Domonique Foxworth. That's how it went.

I think this solidifies the Ravens having their eyes on someone. No idea who though, since I highly doubt it's Nnamdi. Joseph would be a pleasant surprise.

If it's my personal opinion that we should have kept Josh Wilson instead of Foxworth, who cares? I was a huge fan of Wilson's and always will be. You didn't even know Foxworth played as the 3rd DB in Denver, I also bet you didn't even know that he played there. If you have a problem with me and want to personally attack me, take it to PM's. Otherwise, respect an opinion or don't say anything at all.

You'd think people would have gotten used to the lack of activity by now.

How Josh came to be a Raven is a perfect example of that.

well check his stats then, for not having started he still produced...look at his time in Baltimore, he played very well..u talk like he's incapable of being a quality CB when he has already done that.

While I don't like that Ozzie let Wilson walk, I'm fine with the CB corps as it stands. If the team acquires Nnamdi Asomugha, then even better. Otherwise, there's enough depth as long as the team acquires or re-signs another CB or two to complement the two draftees (J. Smith and Brown) and the returning veterans.
How can you be happy with the current crop? The two "starters" right now are injury-prone and have reconstructed ACLs. We're in trouble, guys.

I think he did it more for the money than for the opportunity to play on a good team. Otherwise, there's no explanation as to why any player wants to go to Washington, unless they were loyal to Mike Shanahan (see: Brandon Stokley).

Even without Wilson we have 5 CB's pretty much locked into the 53 (or is it 54 now?) man roster without having to sign anyone else.

Smith
Foxworth
Webb
Brown
Cary Williams

If we can improve our pass rush in free agency we will be fine guys. Our top 3 corners especially are pretty good.

Does it matter that we might not be going after a superstar? Its not like you know who Ozzie is talking to, so you shouldnt go around saying he is doing squat. I can guarantee you he has been working his butt off this entire Free Agency period.

You are acting like not signing a superstar has been bad for the team. I think we have been pretty successful with our Free Agency strategy in the past.

I hear you Romo, but don't worry yourself too much man. Whats done is done, lets just hope Oz has his eye on something great. Its frustrating I know, but well find out soon enough what our team is going to look like.

just by looking at his stats, u can see he filled the stat sheet up, just look at the game logs.

I wanted Wilson too..but I'm not screaming at Ozzie and blaming them, the Redskins are known to outbid other teams for players they want

Foxworth doesn't have an extensive injury history, but I do agree that his ACL could be a cause for concern. As for Webb, he's shown no ill effects from each injury he's had.

I'm fine with the current crop, largely because I believe in the potential of Jimmy Smith, I believe that Foxworth is 100% rehabiliated, and I think that re-signing Chris Carr would be a great solution for the nickel corner since he's more suited to nickelback than on the outside.

You know, I'm one of the "In Oz We Trust" people, but he's not God, okay? He's not perfect. If Ozzie always knew what he was doing, he never would have drafted Kyle Boller or Mark Clayton. The dude is perfectly capable of making mistakes. We are allowed to criticize the Ravens for making moves that seem wrong. I, for one, am starting to lose my patience with the FO at this time. We could lose Todd Heap this year, all so they could free up cap space and then what? Not sign the best corner we had all season last year? He walked for $13.5 mil over 3 years. Probably would have stayed for less. Are we seriously not willing to spend $4.5m/year on our No. 1 corner?

at the moment, Yanda is the 2nd highest paid guard in NFL. His not even pro-bowl. His GOOD, but no-where close the top 5. We overpaid him, and we cut our most productive players. We are keeping Foxworth and threw Wilson out. We threw out Todd Heap so we can try Ed Dickson/Pitta(both players BOMBED last year). This is an absolute disaster if we dont have a big playermaker signed in by end of FA.

same here, i like our CB depth...I think the Ravens will still add another CB for depth and to push the other guys...who knows maybe Cary Williams steps up
