thanks for the vids, Berry looks pretty nasty. Hes got great vision, has really good burst, isnt afraid of contact, has INSANE balance, good blend of power as well, hes tough to tackle.

LOL I have no idea! After seeing some highlights on him and reading up on his scouting report, I'm changing my vote for best skill position UFA player we signed from Silva to him. Both players, IMO, are very good players, but Berry has a chance to make the Ravens backfield a look alike of the old Panthers version, with a RBBC approach more than a plan, but a reality.

RBs aren't as highly-regarded as they were. Plus, he doesn't have elite talent. He can still be a solid pro though.

Berry didn't return punts at Miami at all. He's got a lot of coverage unit experience though.

honestly he runs better than half the Rbs drafted this year, oh well, great for us.

he didnt have tons of yards in 09 or 10 but he averaged i think between 4.5 and 5.5 ypc.

Im surprised Damien Berry went undrafted, his breaks in and out, and decision making is superior to other rookies. Im pretty excited to see some training camp battles.

Damien Berry didn't get drafted because he barely played at the U. There was too much of a clutter for him to get playing time

How in the world did this kid not get drafted?? Not that I am complaining since he is already earmarked for the Ravens, but still??

Sounds sorta like what happened to Willie Parker. Not trying to get our hopes up but it's situations like that that create the diamonds in the rough when it comes to undrafted free agents.

WOW did we sure find some gems....I can see Silva and Berry doing big things on the Ravens down the line could you image Ray,Allen, and Berry going at defenders every game??

Silva looks like a workout warrior to me.

From the few highlights I watched, he doesn't have great range/speed (good closing speed though), kinda lacks instincts, and has terrible tackling form.

just sayin looks like he has good vison and read react capability. and he runs hard nosed style so i think it would be alot like having jim leonard but faster and more agile

D Berry just has great mentality... He thinks I hit them before they hit Me.. Love that, he doesnt even try to make them miss hahaha, just run right through them
