At Least The Ravens Wont Be The Worst Offense In Md

46 posts in this topic

Goodness they looked pathetic. Campbell is an idiot as is the new coach. The worst playcalling and clock management I've seen. I'm a little more optimistic because there is No way the Ravens can look that bad even with a rookie QB

I think...

Jason has all those weapons and didn't use them. It must be growing pains w/ the new offense they can't hurry up that's terrible. What have they been doing in those 5 preseason games?? Jason looked like flacco's first game out there. He got it going later when the Gaints played off him but he got decent protection.

Zorn sucks. Why are you going to bench John Jansen. A pro bowl OT, and one of the best in the NFC. The lost a lot in run blocking and pass protection. If they didn't want him we should just try to trade for him :) . Jason Campbell sucks. When he gets the ball he just looks at his TE or his RB sometimes. He doesn't even look down the field or even turn his head. He can't read defenses probably, but he doesnt even bother to take a look at his options. He's decided where he is going to throw before the snap. Part of Jason Campbells talent lies in his ability to scramble (trained by steve mcnair), but he has been put in al saunders system and now jim zorns system which is for a pocket qb. Jason campbell just looks like he just wants to get some quick completions and he cant even complete short passes. If only we had santana moss, randle el, the best wr in this yrs draft, and chris cooley - even boller would tear it up. all those draft picks and they wasted it on the position they had most depth at, when they clearly needed help in the secondary and DT. jim zorn is just retarded. he might even turn out to be an okay coach in a few years but i can already see that team ruiner dan snyder firing zorn and hiring someone else next season, not to mention trading away all their draft picks and signing more big name FAs destroying any chemistry the team builds at the end of this year.

thats why im a ravens fan :)

Jim Zorn did look lost last night. Those stadium lights hit em and he froze up like a deer in headlights. Where was the urgency? Pathetic. And what happened to Jason Taylor..he was getting pushed around like a clueless rag doll last night. What a shame. They need to put him on the left side and let him go back to doing his thing. I thought Redskins actually might have had a chance to be a good team this year..way to prove me wrong Jim Zorn.

They were playing the Giants DL, which is one of the best in the NFL. I thought Campbell had very little time to do anything in the first half, and played (passed) much better in the second, when the Giants stopped getting after him. Everyone's right about clock management. That was a little ridiculous. I mean seriously, you guys head into week 1 and can't go no huddle or run a 2-minute drill?

''At Least The Ravens Wont Be The Worst Offense In Md'' you got that right, Im anxious because I think this offense will be better than most people will expect. With all the good coaches we have I think the players are good enough to have some great showings on offense this season, starting week 1. The Skins looked terrible, they better change some things quick or thier in for a loooong season.

Yea the Skins were real bad last night. They didn't even have a hurry up offense package in yet. At least thats what I heard on ESPN.

yeah I thought the D-line would have struggled a bit with the loss of Strahan and Umenyiora but they looked very good or the skins O-line just played poorly. Campbell did have very little time in the first half but a few times he did hold onto the ball way to long.

I bet the redskins wish they went against the bengals defense in week 1, maybe they would of look like the the patriots. This is the best scenario for flacco going against a defense that wouldn't even stop USC or any college team from the SEC. The bengals defense, the common cure for a young QB.
Did anyone see Laron Landry get blasted into the next life by Brandon Jacobs? WOW.
Yea. I wonder if he feels embaressed by that. He just got plowed over, not even stunned Jacobs.

Yea that will definetly be on jacked up. Also what yall think of Clinton Portis block on the DE. He leveled that guy. It seem like Portis was the only one ready to play for the skins. Those two hits are definetly going to be on the highlights this week.
not only will you be the worst offense in maryland, but also in the entire league. a rookie qb, no wr's, an old rb, no legit o-line = you'll be lucky if you break 17 points even once all year. and your defense is yesterday's news so you can't rely on them any more. be prepared for a loooooooooooooooooooooong season.
At least we won't be the Laughing Stock of the whole league. That has been reserved by the Bengals. We at least have some diginity unlike Pee-wees playhouse.

The Bengals:
1) With a WR that has made a complete mockery of himself, needs to change his name just to gain some sort of attention. Because his production won't, he'll be done sooner than we can say Ocho Cinco due to injury.
2) They cut a WR that did nothing but get into trouble. Only to resign him a few months later. Disfunctional?
3) They cut two of their best players of all-time. That can't sit well with the players in the locker room.

I can't wait for the next installment of the river dance in the clown factor which is Cinncinatti. Our Offense might not be pretty right now, but at least we have promise.
1. ocho cino is on another level. i understand why you can't comprehend that since you've NEVER had a legit number 1 reciever and you don't have anyone capable of covering him.

2. can you say the best deep threat in the league? and don't start talking about henry, or i might have to remind you that you STILL have a murderer on your team.

3. rudi was hardly the best of all time. he had one good year. and as much as i love willie, his best years are behind him. he'll be on ir for you guys before the year is out. he is waaay to injury prone these days to be giving 11 mill to.
Nice. Still the laughing stock of the league. When anybody talks about the most disfunctional team. THE BENGALS!
Hopefully you can do better than having a losing record AND not get laughed at the same time.

That's a tough order for the Bengals. It's been the team's mindset for a long time now. Must be in the water in Cincinnatti, because I sense a dumb fool in you as well.
have fun watching us own the division this year. we got studs on the d-line in peko, odom, and geathers, rivers leading the lb corp, hard hitting safeties in duke and white and lynch, and pro bowlers at corner in jj and hall. and i don't have to tell you about our offense.

i sense a jealous fool in you as well.
Now I know there is something in the water. This boy's Delusional.

But seriously, I'm sorry for giving you a hard time. I didn't realize you were challenged.

you better hope the ravens are going to do better (which they will) or you won't hear the end of it. i work with some deadskin fans myself and they talk so much trash.

HAHAHAHAHAHA wow i didnt no the bengals d was such a powerhouse. I remember when they gave up 51 to the brownies last year. Takes a great defense to hold teams under the half century mark... Just face it... ravens will always have a better d then the bungels. And the whole league combined will have less players incarcerated then the bungles. Just hope your team has a chance and doesnt totally implode on itself.
