Yeah, thats how I feel about Manning. I dont deny he is a good QB, but im glad to see him out cause its easier for s hopefully. Really?? I never saw why Jax kept him around so long. Do he have any actual skills?

I am talking just backup QB here....over 61% completion percentage, scrambling ability and I think his supporting cast (lack of save for MJD) didnt help him.

Thats true, he did have a pretty poor team around him. Yeah, i guess i can see where he could at least back up...Who do we even have now that Bulger is gone?

Did you happen to see any of the PS games? Tyrod Taylor (our 6th round pick) looked surprisingly strong at times and seems to have locked that role down.

So Palmer could return next week? Interesting. Palmer should just stay retired because Mike Brown won't trade him and this close to the season nobody will trade for Palmer so Palmer is screwed if he tried to show up next week. Maybe Mike Brown will cave in and trade him next off-season.

I think Palmer can return next year and pick a team to sign on with. Maybe once he's all healthy and in shape he'll want a bit of payback and sign on as Flacco's backup.

I guess that would all depend on how well QB needs are met with the draft. I know Kellen Moore, from Boise is going to enter the draft, and hes got quite the future in the NFL as I can see. He has a great passing arm.

So did Ryan Leaf and we all know he ain't goin' to Canton. Transitioning to the NFL is an imperfect science. A good example going the other way is Joe Montana, no one really saw that coming.

Well I have two questions, what is Oakland going to give the Bengals as they have virtually no draft picks in 2012 other than late rounds picks and their first, so unless Oakland dips into their 2013 and 2014 Draft Picks I'm not sure what Oakland will give them. I could see a player but I don't know who. Second, would Mike Brown pull the trigger and finally trade Carson?

I think Mike won't do it because he is so stubborn and we'll hear reports about how the Bengals turned down some big compensation from Oakland that they could have got if they traded Palmer. I have a feeling Oakland would be willing to give up a 2014 or 2013 1st round pick for Palmer even though it would make no sense if Campbell would remain the starter next season and if they really do plan on developing Pryor.
