I agree, I mean if he had cracked Top 10 then he could be considered, but that is a different story which didn't and won't happen. To me he doesn't have a ring and really hasn't done enough for me to give a vote or congratulations for HoF.

A hall of famer has to be a guy that sticks out to you when you think of the best at their position in their era and Edge just doesn't do that for me. If he did get in it would be years down the road.

I mean sure he could get in when there is a stale year of players to get in, but I am talking maybe 10-20 years if he ever is considered.

Not even that. Doesn't deserve to get inducted, period. He's not Marshall Faulk, otherwise he would've made a difference in Arizona.

This.

He was a very good player and all, dont get me wrong. He had 2 OK seasons with the Cards in 06 and 07 and then lost his starting job in 08 to JJ Arrington i believe? and then played half a season (if that) with the seahawks, getting about 125 yards. So in a way, hes kinda sat out about 2 years now. If he woulda played those 2 years and got in the top 10, and possibly higher than 10, he would be gettin in the HoF imo.

To be honest, I'd forgotten all about Edgerrin James the last couple years haha. Certainly that shouldn't happen with a hall of famer.

I, too, had forgotten about Edgerrin James. I suppose his performances, when compared to other running backs, may not qualify him for the Hall of Fame.
