Steelers made a good signing with John Clay. If he can be healthy, I think he could be something along the lines of Jerome Bettis.

The guy was once a Hiesman candidate, but injuries plagued him a ton.

True. They did something similar last year, drafting Jonathan Dwyer out of GT. Not the same type of thing/player, just similar.

The man had 1st round ability. basically his weight issues is why he even slipped to the 2nd and 5th round is just silly be quiet... I have no doubt Cody will step in and do what he does and that is STOP THE RUN.. and DRAW DOUBLE TEAMS... he played well in his limited snaps during the playoffs

I think we need to step back from the Herzlich situation (or any other UDFA) and remember we had a shot at these guys in the draft and felt guys like Tyrod Taylor or Pernell McPhee were better options. Kinda puts it in perspective. These guys[i][b] generally [/b][/i]aren't gonna be difference-makers.
