Josh Wilson wasn't traded. We just couldn't afford him, and the Ravens felt like Carr was more valuable to the team.

Cromartie isn't really anything special. He isn't physical, would get tossed around in the AFC North. Plus he would want too much money.

I don't see how we're counting on all rookies this year. With the exception of WR, we have a lot of depth in other positions and Dickson and Pitta aren't rookies anymore. It's time for them to step up. I also get the feeling that we'll either bring Mason back, or sign Moss, and even if we don't, look what the Steelers did last year with some of their rookie WR's. It's time to put ours in the fire. That's the only way they'll truly learn.

Don't come back when we do make the playoffs!

ok my thing is mason is clutch and why get rid of him and i understand change is good. Man i think he deserves a chance to win a superbowl with us todd did to but he loves arizona. Just starting to get a little scared about all these players that cant possibly be ready. love them just worrying

The fact is it's sad to see Mason, Heap, & Gregg go. We've all grown attached to this players. I'm especially bothered by the loss of Heap because he was one of my favorite Ravens. He was so involved here & really is a great person.

With that said, it's time for us to start our younger players. Look at the Patriots, who constantly seem to get younger every year. We drafted Dickson & Pitta to play, not sit behind Heap. Same goes for Torrey, Doss, Reed, & Cody. It's time they step up.

I'll really miss Mason & Heap. It's a real shame they were cut.

Hi guys, Saints fan here. We signed Fabian Washington today. Wanted to get the scoop on the guy. My guess we brought him in to compete for the 3rd CB spot. Is he any good?

Well, you're going to get mixed reports here. He can be, but more often he will/can get beat. He was a serviceable CB for us for a few, but then completely collapsed last year against Buffalo. Good luck!

i have a favor to ask of everyone on here, my husband is the biggest ravens fan from youngstown ohio, but he just joined the army and is in bootcamp. so hes really upset that he cant watch football and has no clue anything going on. so i decided i would write him a letter with some info on whats going on with the ravens. any suggestions on what to tell him.

Fast with no pads,can't tackle,can't hit,can't catch,can't compete for the ball in the air,slows down with no reason,falls on his ***,can't play special teams, has a twitter account

Heap gone to Arizona,Gregg in Kansas,McGahee with Denver. We locked-up Yanda,Carr and signed the best FB in the league in Leach. In training camp , the rookie OT Reid looks great,Kindle is back to normal and had no set-backs,Torrey Smith and Jimmy Smith compete level is off the charts. Ed and Ray are still the most amazing players and human beings in the whole world. Steelers suck

Not a great acquisition. Gets beat, lacks aggressiveness and absolutely will not or cannot hit and tackle. Ravens are not great at cornerback he won't be missed.

Here we go again-another season of unfulfilled boasts and a whole bunch of steeler bashing-this is like the twilight zone-one hit wonders-how bout contacting Brian Billick? Is Trent Dilfer still out there? For one, we bash the Steelers cause its fun, but in reality everyone on this board knows they are a good team, hell they went to the Super Bowl last year.

Second, not everyone can have Peyton Manning, we have an top 10 QB (based on your opinion, top 12). He's only in his third year. Give him a break.

And lastly, Vontae Leach IS the best FB in the league and a HUGE part of Adrian Foster's season. He was the only FB ranked on the NFL's Top 100, and he was pretty high up there, 56 if I remember correctly. But I guess even the league's best is half baked.

And I know you will be singing the blues at the end of the season when we knock Pittsburgh out of the Playoffs and win that Lombardi.

While we're at it lets get rid of Heap and Mason-just the 2 hardest working players ever in a Ravens uniform and let our "pretty damn good" quarterback (who only had chemistry with Heap and Mason to begin with) now throw to Dickson and two rookies? Our offense was middle of the road last year-does anyone really think we are now better because we have Vontae Leach? Lets face it-given the fiasco on draft day-Does anybody really know what time it is?

Yep its a dirty job but somebody has to do it-don't you get tired of middle of the road teams-the NFL is full of them-always producing the same kind of under achievers that show flashes of brilliance but are never quite good enough-its always the same teams almost every year, dolphins, broncos, jags,chiefs, bears, ravens to name a few and it's always the same teams finishing at the top, pats, colts, steelers, eagles, vikings, packers. Oh yea we won a super bowl in 2000 but i could have coached that team and won it with that defense. That was 12 years ago-sure we got close a couple times but who beat us-the same teams, colts, pats, and steelers. We are competing in a tougher division than ever and we are letting the pride of our team drift away. I say the Ravens are now a rebuilding team and everyone knows what that means.
