I'd rather get rid of McClain and just sign a Vonta Leach or the guy from Cleveland, Vickers. We don't really need him to spell Rice that often, he is a north-south runner which is good at the goal line but he doesn't have the explosion out of backfield. Might as well just give those same carries to Leach/Vickers. Not to mention giving LeRon carries would hinder Allen's ability to flourish.

I agree. I think the best case scenario would be to sign Vickers and let him lead block without any fuss about wanting more carries, then let Allen/Steele split the carries when Rice needs a rest. My original point was simply that the release of McGahee meant that the odds on McClain staying got slightly shorter.

i agree with some of the cuts like Maghee, Heap, Gregg, age and money but i would sign Leron good blocking back and short yardage. I'm getting nervous we haven't made any moves in this crazy free for all, i guess these guys meaning Ozzie and John must have alot of confidence in our rookies we are signing maybe a rebuilding year but i would think we need at least one wide receiver and a corner, pass rusher, and the right side of the o line. I hope they are being sneaky just likle the Eagles wow they look good on paper but u need chemistry to win a championship!!!!!!!!!!!

Parmele too? Thought he was a keeper for sure due to his ability to step in on special teams. Marcus Smith was a good ST gunner as well.

That's a bummer. I've always liked Parmele. Good character guy.

I myself was deeply saddened at the release of Derrick Mason and Todd Heap. Derrick was the only reliable receiver that we had. Also, it doesn't seem like we are making any moves in free agency...

Ill miss everyone that didnt come back, Heap is one of the best to play his position, mason to for that matter but i guess moving into a new era the new guys need thier pt. But when it comes down to 4 or 5 yards wouldnt you want heap for that pass. Good luck to the vets and on to a younger, faster, stronger Baltimore Ravens team.

I think we've missed a few FA trade opportunities - I guess I'll have to be satisfied with just making the playoff.....again.

I understand waiting for FA trade bargins - what's sad is that we've traveled this same road for the pass several years & seem to fall short of our ultimate goal.

If we build to win the BIG GAME, we will not have to be concerned with the Steelers, Patriots, Jets or any other team for that matter.

Lets just let Rex Ryan continue to build his dream Ravens team in New York by trying to get a whole bus load of Ravens Players to sign with him. Why don't we give him a taste and go get Antonio Cromartie, take one of his good players for a change. I have lost hope for the entire season. We are going to be counting on ALL Rookies this year. I very well doubt we will be in the playoffs at all this year. Thanks Ravens Staff....
