He's undoubtably a great player and elite at the goalline, but he's (A) a backup who is paid like a pro-bowl starter and (B ) plays a position where it's not uncommon for undrafted rookies to find success.

He's 29 (turn 30 the end of this year) and has reached the peak of his career. He can be a starter somewhere, but he won't make as much as 6million a year.

I think he'll leave for money for somewhere paying him more than the Ravens did.

kinda glad... loved willis but the time has come. even if he agreed to take a cut i dont know that id want him back, i just feel like our running game needs a new look. id like to see mcclain get those carries or one of the younger guys (allen?). im sure he'll find success elsewhere, i just didnt see him having much more of it here in baltimore regardless of the money.

Been a favorite of mine for years, even back to the Bills days. Gonna miss Willis. He`ll do well wherever he goes he still can be a feature back on most teams.
