I have to agree, everything I have seen of Roth does not suggest he is an upgrade over JJ. I'd rather see us make a move for Manny Lawson...

Congrads Marc playing alongside Osi and Tuck will be nice. No hard feelings for you bro...you are an inspiration to us all. Anyway I like the Bartholemew pick up but would have like Odowd more. Hynoski is still there for blocking fullback and McDaniel from Clemson for safety. God I love this day...its like being able to walk into WalMart and getting a Rolex for the price of a Casio.

Rolex for the price of a casio? How so? MOST of these guys everyone is juicing about WILL NOT make P.Squads let alone active rosters.

palmer isnt retired but if he doesnt go back then he is finished bc they wont trade him

"I'm not expecting him to be back," Brown told the club's training camp media luncheon. "Carson signed a contract. He made a commitment. We have relied on his commitment. We expect him to perform it here. If he doesn't and walks away from his commitment, we aren%u2019t going to reward him, for doing it."

and yea herzlich signed with NY so there goes all those rumors

I'd love to see us sign the impending free agent Leonard Davis. That'd be so awesome. Monster mauler in the middle to compliment Grubbs and Birk. I'd love it. Lets do it. Haha

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN SANTONIO HOLMES. We don't need him. An ex-steeler and ex-jet...no thanks. I reall y would hate to see a headline saying we signed him. I hope that speculation is wrong.

I would love to see Holmes here. Given away by pitt and NY and come to bmore and help us beat both of them...Awesome! I would like Ike Taylor even more!

I don't think Roth would help us with our pass rush, so I wouldn't sign him. I would love for us to sign Nick Barnett. I think he could take Bart Scott's place next to Lewis. I haven't been impressed with the trio of linebackers (McClain, Gooden, and Ellerbe) we've tried out. Get Barnett!

Who I really want is Asomugha, or Holmes. I'd like to regardless get 1 of them, and Barnett or Leonard Davis. "Both set to be released."

Personally I would like to see Foxworth cut as well. He always gets burnt, he's too small and just isn't worth the hit against the cap. Players to resign in order: Yanda, Mcclain, Wilson. After those three guys I think we have enough cap space to make a move for a mark key guy like Holmes or Rice. NO MORE Possession WR's

I wanna see us land Steve Smith. Question is... who to trade?... Besides Foxworth idk who else has enough trade value... I'm sorry. I like Fox... but he's highly overhyped... He is far from being our best corner in my opinion. I know he's home with his family here where he grew up, and I know he helped save the NFL... but I honestly just think we should part ways with him

To H8R: Well since you are a hater you probably don't get the analogy so I will make it simple for you: Will Demps, Bart Scott, James Harrison, Adalius Thomas, Priest Holmes, and currently Jameel McClain and Donnell Ellerbe...all of these guys were undrafted free agents!! You don't think Herzlich is going to come into the league with a chip on his shoulder wanting to prove people wrong for not drafting him...you don't think Tom Brady to this day wants to prove the 49ers wrong for drafting Carmazzi over him(and yes I know Brady did get drafted but its to make a point don't get me on the technicalities)...thats why I said today is the day we can get steals...meaning a rolex for the price of a casio but seeing you are a hater I understand why you wouldn't get it.

why do you all want steve smith? Do you guys not know our type of offense? he wouldnt fit it......

We need SIZE in our deep threat, not another old "fast" aka lost 2 steps out of his prime person like stallworth or smith

someone i really think would fit in our defense is Nnamdi Asomugha and as for our offense Sidney Rice or Plexico Buress would make a better fit then Steve Smith... we really need to keep T.J, Donte, and Fabian... and why not keep Marc Bulger as a back up just in case (i really hope nothing hapens to Flacco tho)........... Go Baltimore Ravens lets get those super bowl rings this year

Im seeing holes everywhere now...getting me concerned. We need a stout O-line or Flacco won't do jack this year. I'm not liking getting rid of both McGahee and McClain, if that does occur. I liked our three headed monster, although Cam seemed to only use one.

Hey, CREEPSTER... Relax. For every player you named.... 100's have FAILED. Not to mention, most of the guys you named were former Ravens. They benifitted from the pieces around them ( IE Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, T Sizzle). Most of them were a fraction of the statistical player after leaving the Ravens D.

Sure, Herzlich has a chip on his shoulder he also had Bone Cancer in his leg... Instead of attempting to attack my inteligence, consider the circumstances. He's not back to 100 percent and you HAVE to be 100 percent to even sniff an NFL roster while being a UFA. People get enthraled with sories like these... it's human nature. Having said this, it certainly doesnt mean I have to bypass my better judgement and says hes going to make an NFL squad.

The kid was delt a bad hand and that's a shame. Thousands of kids have been delt bad hands.... They usually don't make the NFL. I wish him the best but I'm not expecting much. It seems you have an emotional attachment to the kid, nothing wrong with that.... Just dont expect everyone else to.

I'm loving all these budget acceptable players that we are finding. In a few days, when big names or a big name drops, it should help define the reason for the roster moves. Until that glorious moment, I patiently wait with bitten nails hoping for the pens confirmation on Ngata, & * fingers crossed * Asomugha, & other potential players that may propel our chances at becoming SB champs. Some of our FA & cuts remain on my list of other potential players. Make it happen OZ !!!
