I think the Ravens will end up running the ball a lot more. Rice will have a big year. I still think we need a #2 vet receiver & another corner. Foxworth is washed up

I agree with the run first thought and also would like to see a #2 WR brought in but wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens didn't. No doubt Fox was and continues to be overpaid and would like to see either Cary or Chuckie get an opportunity while Fox lets his knee get better (don't see them cutting him for some odd reason) but personally I wouldn't say he's washed up

Lost respect for Derrick Mason. He believes that the Jets have a better chance of winning this season than the Ravens. I hope Ray Lewis, or Jimmy Smith, someone...just gets one hard hit. Give him the message that if he wants to win, he should have stayed.

Still crossing my fingers about Cotchery ... Doesn't seem like it is going to happen though.

The Ravens have reportedly opted to pass on signing Jerricho Cotchery.

roto's take: "It's the right move. Cotchery has an obvious experience edge on Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss, but the latter two possess more speed and the Ravens don't need to get any slower or older at the receiver position."

I tend to agree. Malcolm Floyd made sense. Mason and Cotchery did not.

Preseason performance of the young receivers is key. Look for us the be more aggressive in working a trade for a receiver that can reliably stretch the field if these guys provide little faith that they can be of immediate impact.

I'm worried about not having a PROVEN back-up QB. Ravens should sign someone. If Flacco goes on I.R. long term the season may be done. Let's see if Tyrod Taylor can hang with the big boys. I think R.Williams & Pollard were smart signings. I hope the CBs can hold up their end. Floyd would have been a good fit. At least we'll get to see if the young WRs can produce. It's GAME TIME! Go Ravens!!!

Just watched the entire headline scroll on NFL Network and checked NFL.com. Nothing showing. Perhaps you misheard something.
