Andrew Luck Lottery

Out of all the teams who do you think will win the Andrew Luck lottery this year? I think the front runners are the Redskins or Bengals?

I see the Bills locking up the Andrew Luck lottery at 3-13

I see the Bills winning 6 games this year. Stevie Johnson is a talented receiver and with CJ Spiller they have some weapons on that team this year. Fitzpatrick isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. But if the Bills do lose that many games, they would definitely take Luck

Don't count the Cardinals out of this one. Even Kolb can't stop them from stinking on both sides of the ball.

The Rams and 49ers are both going to be better next year making the division tougher, and this year they play the AFCN instead of the AFCW.

I don't think I'd buy tickets just yet...

Jake Locker was supposed to be the #1 pick in 2011 at this time. Well he did get picked high in the 1st round but his talent wasn't worth it... Tim Tebow was going to the Lions after his junior year. He got picked in the late 1st round because Josh McDaniels is crazy. OK so they did get picked in the 1st round, just not #1 so I am half right!

I guess the point is, anything can change in one year. Andrew Luck has a lot of talent and skill but who knows what could happen a year from now?

I don't see 6 wins coming off their schedule. But I could be wrong.

I don't think Fitzpatrick is bad. He's halway decent. It's the bills defense that makes me think that they will sink.

Their defense is the only thing that has been good about them for the past couple of years. With the addition of Marcel Dareus they will now have two formidable DT's on their line.

I have the Redskins drafting Luck next year.

Hmmm I've never even heard of the bills having a defense

I think Cincy is going to be a strong contender for the title of worst team in football.
[/quote]

Yeah, hopefully Joe learns from his past mistakes and doesn't lay another egg against them this year.

I think the 49ers would be smart to get that #1 pick and bring in Luck.

Raiders could suck with Nnamdi leaving and possibility of TE Cach Miller leaving. Look at their QB. Jason Campbell? lol

For me it's down to these teams:

The Redskins because... well because look at what they have at QB now. Even if they are to re-sign Grossman and play him, the rest of their team doesn't seem good enough to do well right now.

The Bills don't have a franchise QB, just a stopgap in Fitzpatrick. They need to look to the future and what better way to do it that selecting the guy currently touted as the best prospect since Peyton?

The Cards need upgrades in a lot of areas. I don't think much of Kolb at all so I doubt he'll do much good. Right now it makes the world of sense if they can take him.

I wouldn't rule out the Bengals being the No. 1 pick holders but Dalton would have to have a truly Jimmy Clausen-esque year for them to want to ditch him.

Outsider team is the Broncos. The jury is still very much out on Tebow and he isn't even guaranteed the starter job for this season. If he can, Elway will take Luck, who comes from his own former college IMO. He'll want "his own guy" running the show.

Don't count out the Seahawks. With the Rams and 49ers moving up, they could definitely compete with the Cards for worst team in the worst division in football. Especially if Hasselbeck goes this offseason, then they've got Whitehurst...enough said about him at QB.

Raiders are a good option for sure. We will see what kind of impact Nnamdi makes this year whenever he leaves

Seahawks are a good one too. I could see Hasselback go to the Vikings or someone this year and then they would be even worse. The only problem is they play in such a terrible division they are bound to win a game or too. At least against the Cardinals or something

Fitzpatrick is decent and the Bills should win 5-6 games though their defense is horrific. They have some good players on offense.

I see it as the Cardinals, 49'ers and Rams will be improving yet again. Not sure about the Seahawks but I think they'll shade it over the Cards in the NFC Worst

Luck to Arizona

[s]- Cardinals[/s] Traded for Kevin Kolb

- Dolphins

- 49ers

- Panthers(hey why not take 3 QBs in a row lol)

- Seahawks

Drum Roll Please................

Your Winner for the "Suck For Luck" Sweepstakes will be..... The Washington Redskins. I mean come on, John Beck starting? That reeks of tanking the season for Luck all over it.

I had this happen on NCAA 12, Andrew Luck stayed for his Senior Year. Do you guys think Luck could stay in Stanford again, and pass on the 2012 Draft and wait for the 2013 Draft?

It's the Bills, everyone knows because they don't have defense now that their back end is messed up. Also, they're in for a surprise now that the Jets, New England, and Miami all added some pretty serious weapons to their arsenal.

The Bills have to face:

1) a possible No Fly Zone in NY
2) Haynesworth/Wilfork stonewall
3) Reggie Bush

He's a redshirt Junior who stayed to finish his degree. I doubt he'll stay for another season after this, there's really no reason to.

New Andrew Luck Contender: Cincinnati Bengals

Reason:

This offseason, all they're doing is unloading contracts and scaring away all their players.
Chad Ochocinco
Johnathan Joseph
Carson Palmer

After the dust clears looks like the Bengals are going to be cleaning the trash everyone left behind.

Also, add the Dolphins. I have a feeling that they're going to suck really bad this year under Henne.

The HC Soprano might be on his last thread.

I don't know, the Bengals did pretty well at the end of last year without Ochocinco (and T.O.)

They also play the NFC West, which is good for a win or two for them.

A.J. Green might come through and put them over the top on another few games.

The Bengals drafted Dalton, so they are likely out unless Dalton has an AWFUL year.

Panthers drafted Newton so they are definitely out, plus they may actually be alright this season.

Dolphins wont do bad enough to get him. They are in a tough division, but they have a good OL, good recievers, a potentially good backfield, a good pass rush and secondary, and Henne who COULD break out this year.

Broncos likely won't take him because of Tebow and Orton isnt that old, he could run the show for some time. Plus, they wont be bad enough to get him. They will be bad, maybe in the running for Matt Barkley, but not that bad.

Vikes got Ponder, so count them out.

The Niners drafted Kaepernick plus I doubt they are the worst team next year.

And the Cardinals got Kolb, so they shouldnt be the worst team next year, even if they are in the bottom 10.

That leaves the Bills, Raiders, and Seahawks. Out of those teams, the Bills will obviously be the worst unless Spiller has a CJ2K like season, so they will get luck. The Seahawks should be the team to get the consolation prize of Barkeley, though, considering Carrol's ties at SC.

Whoever says the Carolina Panthers are going to repeat last place is just wrong. My bet is on either the Bengals or the Redskins.....it's tough to chose, you can make good cases for each.

If Washington ends up with the # 1 Pick and Andrew Luck declares for the Draft, I hope Luck pulls a Elway and Eli and refuses to play for the Redskins and demand a trade lol. Just don't want to see such a talented player get wasted in Washington. Luck can go anywhere else and do great.... if he ends up in Washington... bye bye NFL Career.

You think his career would be much better in Cincy? haha I would much rather him go to Washington than Cincy for sure.
