Who Dey? Bengals send email to season ticket holders saying that new CBA is done
The owners' Thursday night power play to the players looked a lot like a shotgun wedding; going before the media and essentially claiming victory before the players had seen the full CBA document had that feel. And in the spirit of premature celebration, the Cincinnati Bengals (who else?) jumped the gun and sent out the following email to its season ticket holders:
Wow. Quite amazing, yet I guess we really shouldn't be surprised by who did it.

The Bengals didn't rip off the Saints, they've had Who Dey in Cincinnati for over 30 years

The Saints have been chanting Who Dat since the 80's

Ah. Well then I am paying just the right amount of attention to Bungles traditions. ;)

Lets look at the positives and the negatives for the bengals:

Negatives: Pac-man Jones was arrested, Benson was arrested, Back-up safety Marvin White arrested, Palmer wants out, E-mail mess up, Star CB a free agent, Ochocinco is off endangering his life, and the season hasn't even started yet.

Positives: They drafted AJ Green

Ohh the bengals :P

Who will probably play his contract out and then announce that he's taking his talents to South Beach. Or the Redskins.

Paragraph from the email:

"Two years ago, our football team swept the AFC North—one of the toughest divisions in football—and many key components of that team remain, including defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer and a defense that ranked in the top half of the NFL for three straight seasons. The area of the team that will change the most will be the offense with a new direction under offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and new faces at quarterback and wide receiver. The mix of veterans and rookies should return our offense to the top level we need, and we are excited by the challenge."

LMAO! Sweeping the AFC North in 2009 was their pinnacle of recent memory! They're still so proud of it, even though they got embarrassed by the Jets in their home playoff game, and then embarrassed by their entire season in 2010.

Actually incorrect data. "Who Dat?" had been around New Orleans since the 1800's. (something to do with Jazz). A college began using it for their football team long before the Bengals picked up "Who Dey?". It is one of those things that is heavily contested by both sides. A chicken or the egg thing that will forever live on. lol

It is good to know that the Bungles will always be the Bungles.

Mike Brown has Cincinnati by the <throat>.....the city is terrified of the thought of lossing the Bengals that they are giving them $41million to upgrade the scoreboards, cash registers and maintnance, but the city has no jail space. And with the players getting locked up like they are, they NEED jail space.
