Just like that, the league is full. ATD is our last man in.
How come I didn't get an invite? Am I still in the league?

Edit: Guess I don't need an invite since I'm already logged in.

Haha, don't feel bad, I had some issues too last night. As long as we figure the fixes out, we're good!

On a minor, more serious note..... could you all list your team names on here so Romo could put them in the first post as he's done with a few already?? It would make communication easier and let you know who you're going against and smack talking for the week. Thanks!

I really didn't want to join one of these leagues this year because I wanted to be able to talk fantasy with other people but I couldn't resist. I'm expecting a repeat year............

I'm in two leagues this year. One not connected to this website, and this one is. I have only ever been in one league for the last 2 years. So this year is gonna be a learning step for me that is welcomed. I will put my best into this league though, I can assure you that.

Well it should be a fun year. Last year I was in 5 fantasy leagues and I lost every single one, but the one Romo ran. Unfortunately, the only one without money involved. Either way it should be a good year. Hopefully I don't get plagued with injuries this year again....

Are you afraid you might give away secrets or strategies? I've never had that hinder any success. Last year I was one of the people that voiced their opinion most on guys/strategies on here. And I finished strong in all three BR leagues w/ one championship. Everybody has different opinions on guys. I might convince somebody about one player, while somebody else convinces me about another player, while I bump down another player that somebody else likes.

I will feast on your blood! I welcome your best effort. I've been in about 25 leagues in my lifetime and I've logged 20 mock drafts already this season. But all kidding aside, no matter how good I think my plan and BPA list are, it's a lot of luck. Injuries, situational changes, unknown breakout players, rookie production, etc. No plan can ever come close to envisioning what an NFL season entails.

Your last two sentences there explains it all. While it does take a lot of prep, draft smarts, and experience; it also takes a lucky horseshoe or a lucky teddy bear to win it all haha!

In all seriousness though, I am fully aware that I likely won't win this year. I'm okay with that. All I want is some competition in my opponents, smack talk, and a year to grow and learn from the best. As long as I don't finish dead last, then I chalk it up as success as long as I learn. If I make the 6 team playoffs, then I chalk it up as a huge victory for me, especially since I've only been in two, noncompetitive leagues so far in my 'career'.... haha

The most important thing is to stay active. Too many players think they draft and thats pretty much it. Playing the waiver wire successfully is so key. The most active players are usually the ones who win.

I love Wacko too. But he had no chance to win. He traded away a few of his studs before the season ever started.

He did. It was bad. Good thing we are having a live draft at Wacko's house this year. I'm definitely eating all of his mom's brownies before you all get there

Wow..... all I can say is.... Wow. Its a good thing there is a limit to number of trades, otherwise everyone would be ganging up on him and plucking his players away.... haha.

I'm coming for you lowrider, last season I went 12-1 and outscored everyone in this league but finished 4th because my team decided to all get injured for the playoffs.

Active, aggressive, and competitive.... all three words that describe me as not only a fantasy football player, but they also describe me as a person.

LOL I love me some brownies, can you send them by pony express to my home in Tennessee?? I would much appreciate it!

Am I the only one who lives out of state that plays in this league?

Now that sounds like a job interview answer.

Employer : Our industry is active, aggressive and competitive, do you think you can handle this type of business?
Prospective Employee T-ray: Active, aggressive, and competitive.... all three words that describe me as not only as an employee, but they also describe me as a person.
Employer: I like your style, you're hired.

Maybe we'll draft on the 2nd then. That's a Friday, so if everyone is good with that, I can change the draft date. I didn't make it on Saturday the 3rd because of ER20's draft. Is everyone cool with Friday the 2nd?

Friday night? Isn't that when most of you party and stuff because you have no work? Why doesnt everyone post 5 dates of their own and we just see what matches best.
