Still hoping for Charles Johnson or Ray Edwards.

I'd temper those hopes. Neither player is a "right player, right price" target the Ravens usually go after.

We will probably go after a veteran OT,a number 2 RB with both McClain and McGahee looking to be starters and make more money,a back-up QB; on defense we will certainly re-sign one of Wilson/Carr,bring some competition at the safety position if Landry signs elsewhere and add some depth at OLB/DL but nothing too big. We will lose more quality than we will gain that's for sure.

pretty much agree with that

If we're going to go with a Free Agent FB, I don't see it being anyone of a 'bigger name' than Vickers. Leach, whilst being a better blocker, will command more money than McClain and there's not even a guarantee that the Ravens will bring McClain back. The fact that we have so many of our own to re-sign and a lot of them being key to our success really restricts our potential free agent signings.

I think it's possible we won't need to sign ANYBODY through free agency except maybe a veteran QB to the PS. I think we should cut:
Willis McGahee
Domineque Foxworth
TJ. Houshmandzadehran
Matt Lawrence
Donte Stallworth
Marc Bulger
Then we're set, with the draftees making up for those losses.

I'm not sure that we NEED a CB because I believe our biggest concern should be resigning our own, but what about a guy like Richard Marshall from the Carolina Panthers. He's not the most talented but I think he would be a solid addition to our secondary and at a reasonable price.

Can't think of many times the Steelers have ever went after high-priced free agents. I highly doubt he ends up there.

We can't afford to keep McGahee? He's gonna be hard to replace. :\
[/quote]
I think we'll make due.

Now let's sign J. Joseph and Vickers!!

6 million dollars is a lot for a back up running back thats declining. Also, runningbacks are a dime in a dozen. Personally, I think his replacement is with the team.

As for free agents, I'd like Mathias Kiwanuka. He might be a little more expensive than we'd like, but he's a good player. He has experience at both OLB and at DE. He'd be a solid insurance policy for Kindle.
