I Think I'm Going To Cancel My Direct Tv Package

10 posts in this topic

Ed Reed is hurt, Willis is hurt, my favorite QB Boller no one supports 'cept me is hurt. Doesn't look good. Direct TV prices were raised, bad economy. Looks like I'm leaning towards a cancellation.

We're all fans here; no need to question anyone's fanhood.

If someone wants to cancel their DirecTV package, I can't blame 'em; it's overpriced, IMO, and the NFL Sunday Ticket might not even be on DirecTV for much longer, anyway...even though the exclusive contract is through 2011, there is a slim chance that the NFL might take it away and award it to a cable company (probably Comcast, to ease the tension over the NFL Network fiasco).

Even better, there is also a possibility that an online internet subscription streaming service might be introduced in the next couple of years, if NBC's Sunday Night Football online simulcast experiment works out this season.

Bossman and Franchise I appreciate intelligent fans like yourselves, thank you. I live in California and I follow the draft every year nearly the entire weekend, read the Ravens website at least once a week. My family biz, my pops cut my salary to 30K I just bought a toyota camry 09 after years of having clunkers, so I got to make smarter choices.

I did speak to Direct TV last week about just having packages in the future for one team. I really don't watch many other teams. I took a little liking to the Bills, and I love watching Pitts to see if they are gonna lose, but that's about it. They said quite a few customers voice that complaint about the prices, and that their are no one team packages. She said that was something the brass was considering for the near future.

Harrington and other QB's really tick me off as well. How bad is my boy Boller's shoulder? And why does Boller seem liek the nicest guy on the planet that goes with the flow instead of wanting to be the starting QB? Troy Smith's tonsils are you kidding me what are these fatal injuries that we need to negotiate a salry for a lame duck like Joey Harrington? Is the great Ozzie feeling OK?

If you do drop it just keep in mind you can always pick 98 rock online for live game coverage. Times are tight everywhere.

its blacked out. you can only listen to it on real radio

i think on NFL.com there is a gameday thing which is considerably cheaper than a directv subscription
