BALTIMOREFLACCO

Ravens Blitzology

12 posts in this topic

Hopefully this hasn't been discussed here yet, but my buddy (St. Louis fan) who's a big 4-3 defense nerd showed me this site: Click Here. This site pretty much breaks down the concepts of the blitzes we see on sundays, and it happens to have a section regarding the Ravens' defense. This is great for the x's and o's guys here. Hope you guys enjoy!

If it's win now. It's Nnamdi Smith Webb Wilson reed zibi = blitz whoever ya want. That extra time quarterbacks have to pat the ball provides constant collapsed pockets. Mcgahee foxworth and Landry would have to go. Foxworth and mcgahee have to be traded the ravens are on the hook with both players. It'd be a miracle if the front office pulled it off

We're not getting Nnamdi...

It's good to see the Ravens still getting acknowledged for their blitzing, even post Rex Ryan.

We could get Nnamdi... no one knows yet.

Wilson, Fox, Carr, McGahee, Gregg, LeRon, and Landry for Asomugha...

Fox and Mcgahee would be the only ones we would have to get rid of that contribute for 10 mil, people forget that Fabian Washington has a contract that could put us over the top in the Nnamdi contract. So you give up 2 DB's which one is a backup, one recovering from injury, all to gain an all-pro that shuts down his side of the field. Then Mcgahee might hurt but we have drafted a guy that has the POTENTIAL to be that next great Raven's thumper. It is within the realm of possibility, and could definitely benefit our team, and we drafted 2 corners in the draft so cutting 2 and then bringing in one actually mean we would be + 1 on depth.

Nice post man, thanks. I really liked the camera angle on the NFL Rewind. I might have to sign up for that this year.

There's just no escaping the Nnamdi-talk, is there?

Nnamdi = prototype Ravenwe are a match made in heaven. Everybody wins. So let's end the speculation and sign the man to a contract.

It still won't be safe. People will claim we could still trade for him (on his new team) by giving up McGahee.
