Its because he has a problem. He needs to figure out that AA meetings are a better fit for him then clubs/bars. But that's a tall order for a guy like Pacman to realize.

Goodell needs to suspend him indefinitely and kick him out of the NFL. I read this is his 14th incident since joining the league in 2005. 14 incidents in under 10 years... suspend him from the league for good!

Pacman claims he wasn't drunk, but fact is, he was at a bar and he was allegedly being disorderly -- of course people will assume he was drunk. Rarely does an adult go to a bar without having at least one drink, per social norms. Given his documented problems with alcohol, he shouldn't have even been in the vicinity of a bar, whether or not he was celebrating a special occasion with his girlfriend. If he wants to celebrate, he has enough money to do it at home[i] and[/i] have the place look fancier than any bar or club.

There's a reason why coaches say nothing good happens after midnight when you're an athlete. Whether or not he did anything isn't the issue; it's the fact that he put himself in another bad situation as he's done throughout his career. There's only so many times that someone can be involved in a bad situation before you wonder whether they're the root cause of the problem.

I'm sad to hear this news about Pacman. When he first started playing in the league, he showed flashes of brilliance, but he's just another example of pure stupidity and wasting extraordinary talents. Even if Goodel didn't suspend him for life, he would never be touched with a 10 foot pole by any team now. I mean, 14 incidents in 6 years?? Thats just too many, even for an average person!

I'm not sure this deserves a "Wow!" in the title. I mean, it [i]is[/i] Pacman after all, it was only a matter of time til he was in handcuffs again. I don't expect many more teams to be taking a chance on this screw-up. He's not even that impressive on the field to offset the legal issues.
