Have you guy's seen this yet? It seems as though Le'Ron has been keeping in shape. I wonder if we are going to re-sign him?

I wonder too! But, he has indicated he wants to test the market and I am sure there are a lot of teams that would like his services. If we cannot resign him we should sign Vickers who is an impending free agent out fo Cleveland.

it doesnt matter he aint a raven according to half the nfl , we have no full back Cam better prepare to take us to alot of Shotgun or a strict west coast cause this is gonna hurt

I hope we can keep him. If not, we have McKie and hopefully we can pick up someone in FA. I wouldn't mind having a pure blocking FB. I also wouldn't mind keeping LeRon and getting a pure blocking FB.

He seems to be in the best shape he has ever been in. He is ready to be a runningback, he has the speed now. Bring him in as our bruiser, the guy to wear down defenses and keep the real playmaker Ray Rice as fresh as possible. I feel he wants to stay a Raven, and would be a shame to lose him. Especially if a rival (like the jets) or anyone really signed him.

Mcclain is just a beast. IMO he could be a big difference maker for this team. Last year we struggled heavily with closing out games. Alot of that was on play calling but I also think we need a bruiser to close games out. I say that for the majority of the game we should keep Mcclain as FB but in goal line or late in games we need another fullback to block and let Le'ron tote the rock. I remember in 08 people were terrified to tackle this guy. He's got crazy explosive strength and power in his lower body. Resigning Le'ron should be a top priority, if not I think it'll haunt us.

I really hope the Ravens bring McClain back, and I think the shortened offseason will help the Ravens retain him.

Even though I strongly believe that McClain's desires to be a all purpose back has limited him from being that true lead backer, I do feel he'd be a really good #2 RB for us.

Just listening to McClain talk, I get the feeling he really wants to be back in Baltimore, but being able to showcase his talents is very important to him as well.

McClain believes he can be a all purpose back, not just a FB and not just a RB, but a guy who could do both really well. With the way he's been working out this offseason, that just might be possible.

I'm not sure if that has ever been done before. A guy who's the FB and #2 RB, and do it at a high level.

I think if the Ravens could give McClain a decent offer, and a promise of a larger role as the back up RB, he'll be back with us.

McGahee is on the books for 6 Million, that money may very well go straight to McClain. Last year the Eagles signed Leonard Weaver to a 3 year 11.5 mil deal. 6.5 was guaranteed.

There is no doubt that Leach will be the highest paid Fullback this year imo. I think McClain might take extra carries and the Ravens over huge money. I think a 4 year 12mil deal should keep him in Baltimore. 7 million guaranteed, and 5 million spread over 3 final seasons.

The more and more I think about it, with a shortened offseason(OTA wise) and the way we struggled with the running game in 10', the Ravens can't afford to rely on the young guys we have behind Rice and a new FB. Bringing McClain back will be great for the Ravens.
