Thanks for the link. And this is the person half you guys want to chase out of town? (Talking about Foxy, not you atljbo)

Proud to have such a well-spoken, intelligent player on our team. Helps that the guy can play, too.

The reason why Foxworth did so well towards the end of 2009 was because he studied film extensively as he continued to absorb his new playbook. All of that hard work paid off on the field. In all facets of life, it's often the work you do in the classroom that prepares you for the work you'll do outside of it.

I don't think there's any question of Foxy's intelligence, nor his ability. I personally think he's a very good person and player to have as a Raven.

It's just a shame that we'll likely have to let our best (IMO) CB of 2010 in Josh Wilson depart because of it. Having said that, a depth chart of Smith, Foxy, Carr and Webb is much better than what was there 12 months ago.

are you a teacher franny? lol
but you are damn right about what you´ve said. preparation is everything. you can´t except do go out and do your job without knowing what exactly you wanna do. knowing your strengths and weaknesses is big. and that´s not only about football.
most people forget that knowing what you cannot do will make you better at the end of the day. not talking about stuff that you can do!!!

i don´t think that they want him out of town by any needs. his name was often mentioned when we were talking about the what if situation signing aso.
i hope everybody knows that this will never happen and if healthey, foxy clearly is our #1 cb!!! people seem to forget way to fast!!! he was really special for us before he got injured.

i wasn´t a big fan of his contract and still think he is overpaid. but at the end of the day he is a very solid player who can help our secondary a lot!!!!

Good article.

Not trying to run the man out of town by any means. Just keeping it real. This wasn't some minor injury that caused him to miss a few games. It was a major injury that made him miss an entire season. It is doubtful that he is back to form from the get go. Still say that he will have to earn that #1 CB spot with the depth we currently have.

not just when we talked about aso, people also want to cut him to bring Wilson back, or cut him just to purge his salary because they feel he is overpaid.

He has gotten a raw deal from a lot of fans since day one. Then in his second game when Vincent Jackson lit him up, that sealed the deal in a lot of people's minds.,,,,

Exaactly flynismo... Trying to chase me out of town.... Oh nvm.. just read the whole thing... Both of us tho...lol

All jokes aside... Foxy left our team in FA to go to you guys so i know a little something about the guy also... Great locker room guy/ good person all around...

He was a good CB in our zone playing D... I wasnt sure how he would fit with in your scheme tho.

As long as his contract is not above his playing level... He is a guy i would want on my team.

The Falcon comment didnt hurt also...lol

While I am not one of those fans that is trying to give Foxworth the boot, his contract does loom large. He played very well for us down the stretch in 09' but coming back from an ACL injury is never easy. Most experts will tell you it takes close to 18 months to completely regain pre-injury form. I think we should resign Wilson because he is still young and he played incredibly well for us last season, plus it would give us great depth at CB. We wouldnt have to start Foxworth from day 1 with a ton of pressure as our #1 CB. I think Jimmy Smith will prove pretty quickly that he can cover #1 WRs, but in the meantime I would like to have a bit of insurance.

hopefully there's a new season and competition in training camp.

no one is getting handed the #1 spot at any position without having earned it

Foxy is young, intelligent, and articulate...let's see how that translates to his rehab and performance on the field

GO BALTIMORE
